Fossilfool - just read your post. Thanks. Seems a few of us were typing at the same time.
There are many saying it's cancelled and many saying it'll add £1.88 onto the SP. I've read nothing official about either so hence the confusion.
I wasn't in prior to the demerger but surely the RNS with the demerger update is just saying what it says? The demerger been suspended and not cancelled. And presumably the demerger will be resumed when/if things get back to normal.
I've not seen anything to say it has been cancelled so why would that value be added back on when the EVR shares start trading again? Have I missed something?
Folks are getting a better idea tonight of who has shares in Evraz, and who doesn't.
Who are the ones spending all day on a bb....turning from positive to negative? And vice versa?
Shame you're all wasting these nice Spring days we've been having and will never influence Evraz's SP, especially when it's suspended :)
'If I'm wrong why the special treatment for the Chelsea sale...haven't heard another single instance where a sanctioned person is allowed to release an asset'
Because he's the owner and he's said that he won't profit from the sale.
Lodan1 - perhaps you, your wife and your friends should broaden your horizons politically wise. Perhaps not vote for the same colour as you team? Open your minds a touch.
Never heard such nonsense in my life than that last message.
World Champions paid for by RA ;)
I'm a football fan. No particular English team but believe this Gov couldn't care less if any EPL team went down the drain, let alone Chelsea.
Football clubs are generally loss making for their owners.
Perhaps RA has made a lot more from Chelsea whilst being in absolute control? Selling at a loss would be inconsequential.
Great that he's giving to charity but I doubt he's losing out one way or another.
Thecouchman - Chelsea could go down the sink easily and the only folk that would care is the 70+ year old supporters and the ones who jumped on the bandwagon when Roman took over. National treasure? Do me a favour.
It's a football club. No more, no less to the Govt
