See RNS of 20th Oct 2016. Baron Capital (not Baron from Twitter!) had 7% then and still did as of July 2019 on the Lekoil website. I've highlighted this many times. They didn't buy just prior to the funding RNS, they were selling down crossing the threshold on 30th Dec. Maybe they got wind of it?

Just pointing it out as some seem to want to drag Ronald Baron & Baron Capital ( not the Baron from Twitter!) through the mud. GLA

And my 5 were up 15% in the last 5 months since I invested. I'd advise everyone to put the bulk of their cash in a diversified tracker and fund portfolio, with just spare change on AIM. I got a bit greedy and put in more than I should have in LEK based on their RNSs. I will make it back in time, but it's a major setback.

I'm absolutely done with AIM. Too much corruption. Just glad RRE is making up the shortfall. Sticking to boring tracker funds in the future. I've learned my lesson!

Bit late with that 'joke' ATISHA....it wasn't funny last night...and nor is it now. Folk have lost a lot of money due to this fraud.

From my experience of working out there, the guy at the top knows everything that is going on. No-one is getting a cut if he isn't. The CFO going days before is highly suspicious. Obvs could have been him behind it all if the CEO trusted him completely.

I'd like to know when QIA found out. Before or after the Director resignations?

Having been fooled by the fraudulent RNS about funding, I sold out of #LEK this morn at a good sized loss, but will get over it. Having worked in Nigeria several times, I should have known better. Most would rather scam and get $600k+ today, than work and get $6m next year. It's their mentality and it'll never change. The country is corrupt from the top down. Google the former President, Goodluck Jonathan. Came into power with ~$20 bucks in his pocket. Left the job 8 or so years later with ~$80 million.

It was certainly an inside job, with many getting backhanders. It's the way it works out there. They are only interested in lining their own pockets unfort. I'm more ****ed off I lost a few hundred £ of my son's JISA.

Avoiding African O&G in the future, including Shell Nigeria etc. They do not have the same standards and scruples as Shell UK....do not be fooled by the name. ATB.

What a ridiculous comment to make Woodstock. Just because you were here for long time, doesn't make you more of a proper investor. In fact, you took more risk investing in LEK at 3p. It worked out well for you but it could have easily have gone the other way.

Many people bought in at 8p and above because they thought it had been massively derisked. Obviuosly not the case. Please think before you open your mouth. There's a lot of people going to lose money over this debacle.

Apparently a 'managing partner'. He has also apparently been involved in numerous other financing companies although I can find no record of it. RSP Energy Lp doesn't exist but RSP Energy (UK) Lp did and dissolved in 2012. No record of him being CEO.

The Georgetown Genesis website is just as vague as the Seawave one, but does look better. No names or past projects etc

Yep, he's gone from being a LTH to selling out half (or more) and now looking to trade. You can tell by the tone of his posts. Subtle negativity when the sp is high, positivity when it drops. Clear as day.

I def don't understand why they have released a RNS to say they're realeasing a RNS. Or why they've set up a conference call already. I've hsd this before and it wasn't good news. I'm praying it is good this time. I only have £1k invested at 65p but at the moment, it would mean a great deal if it's positive news. 70% loss or many 000% gain. it is binary. Unfort we are all locked in now regardless. The only thing that is keeping me optimistic is the gain over the water. As we all know, news usually leaks. GLA and fingers crossed.

88e sitting at near £100m mcap and UKOG at £60m. Laughable! RRE should be trading at £40/share minimum just now. That is reality. Strange markets :/
