company has had it share price dropping pubs still closing tenants getting even more frustrated where will it all end

so belly1966 are you saying the takeover offer price will be higher than the original offer

probably years and only after a legal challenge I would of thought but at least its unnerved them already ive had a letter warning about our obligations as a tenant sadly it was dressed up as a we wish you a happy and prosperus xmas message they are a spineless bunch of Wan---s that really think us tenants are stupid

now its going to get interesting im sure the market rents will be top heavy in pubcos favour but the independent body should make them fair and as for the pubcos saying they wont be able to invest so much into pubs DONT MAKE ME LAUGH if you can get them to invest they put your rent up and recoup the investment 10 times over and if any repairs are there responsibility they only patch the things up I had cellar flaps that were falling off it took 5 years for new ones to go on everytime they came loose they sent contractor to put longer screws in its an absolute joke the only positive is they may lay off useless area managers driving around in luxury cars telling a landlord with 30 years experience to hold a quiz night on a Monday to improve trade LOL

they can do whatever they like but the business model is broken company still 1.8 billion in debt tenants not able to pay rents and closing down weekly its F------ good job they gave us spirit shares to compensate

so a 20 to 1 consolidation debt only reduced by 600m pubs are still closing at 37 per week 8 per week in London and south east and 2 per week in Essex Monday night only 15 customers tonight you tell me if this was a boxing match it would have been stopped long ago !!!

Sorry to pour cold water on your theory but world cup or not 1 the pub model this company operate is broken 2 people have less desposable income so yes they may be out watching England on a Tue night but they wont be out on the Wed night 3 there mortgage payments on these pubs outways the rents they can charge us tenants so that's why its taking so long to sort this mess out no lender wants to take a haircut on there loan so the threat of ADMIN still looms large

wouldn't dare take our deposits as they then wouldn't have any tenants paying there extremely HIGH RENTS so they might threaten that but wouldn't be a good idea would it This is a GAME that must come to an end soon been here 20 years its been like a slow car crash

The lenders may have voted against the debt plan the company default and the administrators brought in LETS HOPE SO as a rather pis--d off tenant it cant come quick enough just think all those area managers that do nothing out of a job 50000 a year executives gone we can buy our pubs off the administrators and get these pubs back to profitability good night

very well done on your charting success on this excuse my anger but having this company as a landlord has made me very bitter towards this company I assume this is down to the restructuring deal on the table

the market and those in the know must think the vote will get passed next week and all will be good but let me tell you THIS COMPANY IS GOING NOWHERE and one day will go pop and it couldn't happen to a nicer set of people call me bitter but running one of their pubs gives me a good insight into their approach to publicans and believe me they are papering over the cracks couldn't agree more with MALTEASERS COMMENTS whats that old saying what goes around comes around
