No, just laying with its eyes closed waiting for approvals ! Mcap is the same as money in the bank, nothing for ip etc. I am hoping, fingers crossed, an approval, any approval and it will fly. The recent RNS pretty much says they don't know when and all of that is really out of their hands. They do have many irons in the fire. Patience and time to top up in mho
I'm with all other PI'S, so far down .....but, is it possible on approvals, one, two or three to cone, this can bounce by 300% to get back to placing sp!!! There's money in the bank and this moves rapidly, one way or the other, on even the smallest morsel!!!! Gla
Happydays: your right with your accessment re Google results, so many factors involved in their algorithms, validity/value of site content etc. A lot of work needed in many areas e.g social media, articles, links etc to raise validity......time and effort.
When they launched site it was nowhere in results but improving already although was on third page of search for me.
I did mention, when they launched, even if you search "simply test" there is a company "simply test me" which comes out top. I'm not sure it was/is the best name choice for abdx but assume they analysed the Google search data before choosing the name!!!
Wow, an RNS......an RNS !!!!!! Whapp, whapp, whapp.........829 mill shares, we could see that but nice to know someone is in the office....."hello, hello, its a small private investor shareholder here. How's the prospectus going and when can I access my shares. Thanks, if its not too much trouble. Oh, I do apologise to trouble and I know I own less than 1 % of the company. Anytime you get a moment, just a word or two from you. Thanks"
Being a shareholder, be it a trader or investor , I would expect a "minimum" level of communication about the company I own a share of! While I get the "shielded from the market" bit put forward by some, that to me would suggest they feel DEV sp would struggle. I, on the other hand think dev sp would flourish, as the company is.
I cannot think of any shareholding I have ever had where the communication is so bad !....... and I have held some right dogs!!!
And now Truss says maybe no windfall tax as bad for business and Hur falls! No bonds, loads of money, more on the way......and sp falls?????
Between Lloyd's and Barclays the best news today is the market vloses soon, unfortunately tomorrow is another day........but there is always NWG !!!!!!
FFS, can't even get a ruse out of oilers with possibility of no windfall tax !!!!! Strange times
LTI : now that message was funny!
However, what ever value the "good dividend" was has now been lost in the share price drop. ... and yes, you don't have to tell me how the market works and how this is a buying opportunity and if you don't like it move on blah blag , ffs
Someone woke the sp again?
Anything happened as no rns and trading is slim !!!
Bagzzzz: Very good point !!!!!
Simon: thanks for pointing out my factual error
Bladerunner: I agree, sp more important than the divi but it seems many are disappointed with the results/divi and now the sp has fallen by more than the divi !!! I think it will settle but we are still a fair way off NWG sp and we're at one time running almost the same.
Well is REALLY seven months now!!!!!!!!
I can see on the RNS's 19th, 20th and 21st July that Veative, Mr Jefferies and the appropriately named Mr Akers (akers, spondulix, buckaroos) have shifted/changed/swapped shares around so an update on when it's the PI'S turn would be greatly appreciated.
While I remain massively positive on Dev I am amazed, yes even here on AIM, at the companies lassez faire attitude in their dealings with us the "other" shareholders. I appreciate they may all be giddy with excitement at the unfolding prospects, delirius with delight at the financial forecast or just too busy counting the chickens......the ones which will lay the golden eggs but a simple timely communication to us what satisfy.........were you this quiet before your IPO and listing?
I don't bloody think so!!!!!!
Longterminvestor: let's not do the "big" to and fro debate over differing view points. I simply have the opinion that the divi which was due and them withheld (suspended) was not returned to those to whom it was due. The company deciding to use "my" divi for a share buy back, which is yes to my benefit in general terms , was dictated to me and not my choice. You will, no doubt, understand my sentiment in the phraseology I use whilst understanding the translation is not literal, ffs, to use your terminology.
Everyone and their dog are entitled to an opinion.
Hardup: I get what you are say, 20% up on last year is good but "what's done is done" is, for me, not any form of address to what was done!!! Institutional and regulatory legal theft!!!! Let's not get into a big debate about it, we have different opinions and could/can bring loads of info facts etc to counter each opinion. 0.8 is better than less!!! Hope the sp can improve too!!
Andanotherthing: agree with you re percentages and don't quite understand (I'm not a seasoned investor) why the general "whoop whoop" over 0.8p divi. Let's not forget they are currently engaged in spending our withheld divi from 2020 on buyback, sp nothing to shout about and IMHO current divi not up to previous levels percentage wise.
Yes, 4-5 % is OK in current terms but disappointed no compensation for withheld divi
Almost peed myself with excitement as my holding on HL which disappeared when shares were suspended just suddenly reappeared.........thought hurray, we're back in business and I can now get at my investment.........but as you all know, it wasn't to be, not today.....tomorrow, the next day....the end of the month.......sometime this summer .........or this year?????
Come on Dev, give us an UPDATE ON TIMELINE, an approximate within a month or two??
It's another positive step and I am sure further positive news will help the sp. I do think the website is not "punchy" enough and way too much white space so the "call to action" is weak. I know there will be a growing range of tests but to have covid tucked away within the bottom section "infectious diseases" is not a "in your face" call to action. They have a huge amount to do to get this turning up in search for covid tests and wonder did they notice a site called simplytestme.co.uk which is number 1 hut on search results!!!!
Glad we have a site but got to be "punchier" by far, as someone mentioned all multicultural, Happy healthy people and very vanilla.
