Hi Lupidog I am not sure whether BAG is them or us in your view . Of course individual shareholders have a right to address the BOD but the logistics of a small board answering every individual 's queries make it impractical from the company point of view unless he or she is very large shareholder. It is as simple as that.

BAG or Bezant Investors group is not a clique of investors . It was formed originally to "hold the BOD's feet to the fire as Richard Ellis characterised it. Shareholders at the time were concerned that the company could go bust. Since CB has restructured and invested in new projects , we are a much more viable company. So we are now much more an inquisitive group who attempt to discuss BZT's progress every couple of months. You or anybody who holds shares in BZT can join but it is not open to non holders . This may not encourage potential holders but our arrangement with CB is that we represent shareholding owners of BZT and he knows who he is talking to. CB does not divulge market sensitive information to us but we do talk through the status of each project. Currently five . Hope Goreb, Mankayan , Eureka . Kalengwe and Kanye. BAG is not a PR set up nor a cheer leader for BZT but we try to keep our members informed. You may argue that all we learn should be available on RNS but it is more background info as members will appreciate. We rely totally on CB to make time for us.

Not sure if I am reading your post correctly, but for the record the deal with MMIH has been withdrawn and the Mankayan licence( due to expire later this year) has been applied for and CB is very confident it will be granted.
I bought a few more yesterday pm but they have not been registered yet as a buy. 20p will soon seem a very good entry point I hope.
I have sympathy with the poster complaining about lack of news. However, the latest BAG report points out that CB says there should be an increase in newsflow updating current projects over the next few months. Lets hope so. There is a lot going on but CB does not like posting anodyne announcements so it should be worth the wait.

I bought a few more (marked as a sell as per usual) to get my average down. At the risk of sounding like an old record I think the market is ignoring BZT and the market cap at 9M will be seen as daft in a few months time. The Chinese have realised they cannot control the price of copper , only dent it occasionally and CU is back at $430

This is a wonderful position to be in and we are nearly there. An income of 300-400k a month with the assets and potential we have..... Imagine a tech company with this outlook.

This article gives some background to the use of high purity managanese . It is used to make CAM .. Cathode Active Materials which are a key component in making battery products. For BZT holders who are getting impatient like bitcoinbuyer this licence could soon be mined as the metal is near surface but we do have to map out the best prospects first and then we could do a deal with our neighbour or mine it ourselves. Giyani is nearby and ahead of us but CB has said that he needs to confirm the extent of the minerals available on our licence.

The only thing that has changed recently is the drop in the copper price. The Chinese autocrats who caused this can attempt like Canute to hold back the tide but in the long run as Mrs T famously said you cannot buck the market. However another mantra which might apply was by Keynes, I think , "the market may remain irrational longer than the investor may remain solvent". Hopefully not for those on this board.

I have just added a few at 27.2 as there is no solid reason for the current low SP. Chinese attempts to lower the price of raw materials has had a short term effect on all metals especially copper but the Chinese Communist party will ultimately have the same success as Canute .

This board is normally full of interesting posters with constructive comments. I find capital letters and insults are tiresome and dull. Please keep up the level chaps and do not turn this into a trolling competition.

you are welcome to join our group. We are not as important or powerful as News suggests. We are a group of self elected shareholders who attempt to contact Colin Bird every couple of months for an informal discussion and an update on BZT projects . We are entirely dependent on the Chairman's goodwill for this. We do ask for our members to confirm their shareholdings. We circulate notes of the meeting to all on the list.

News Yes I am one of the BAG 3 .. not head as you suggest. we did of course ask about Mankayan at our last conversation and CB assured us that the renewal had been applied for and was 85-90% certain it would be granted. CB said that within a couple of months (by end july approx ) a decision would be made as to how it would be dealt with. There are some complications in retrieving ourselves from the MMIH issues but he did not seem to think that this should present a serious obstacle. He said that if it were in Nevada there would be a long queue of suitors. He also raised the possibility of listing on the ASX amongst other options. But did not go into details . So we need to wait a little longer for news on this News...

I think you are right Ella . CB s undoubted enthusiasm for an open pit mine is primarily based on geophysical survey results as he talks of a higher grade mineralised cap over the central porphyryr system. Particularly to the North East. Subject to drilling confirmation. The attractions of open pit mining are obviously economic and he has mentioned how he wants to demonstrate this option at BR to the majors .

I see Kod has shot up on news of its licence being likely to be awarded for its Bougini project. Hopefully same will happen here when we hear of confirmation of renewal at Mankayan. CB said it was a 85% probability and we should hear by end of July hopefully.

CB and his team made it quite clear that their chief objective is to work towards proving up enough resources in order to reach the buyback position as quickly as possible. CB also laid out some elements of the formula that they would use to arrive at the "fair value" . If AA decide not to pay this price and offer a lower valuation then CB could reject it but if AA offered the figure calculated according to an agreed formula then that would be a deal. Why would we object anyway as Gixxer says.

I hope jaded bit coin punters will put their cash into copper . I cannot for the life of me understand why investors are allowed to consume gigawatts of electricity creating assets which can collapse in value overnight . One of the crytpto uses seem to be nefarious malaware ransom demands which threaten the real economy.

To keep us perky remember we have the results of the geophysics survey due on Minemba and also news from the overfly survey at Hope Goreb. Either or both of these should be interesting and are expected in the next few days.
