I wonder how much todays rise comprised of buyback compared to 'normal' market activity. The overall vol today was pretty low. Wonder too, if folks are holding off, waiting for an sp droop when the repurchase winds down then to start buying again. I've never really held non hi vol AIM shares and haven't experienced a buyback scheme. Any thoughts ?

jtan- Yes, we are seeing a strange 'whipsaw ' pattern today. Just when we thin the sp will do a late a.m / early afternoon droop- it pops up again. The buyback 'bots may be presenting their shovels. After hours will be interesting. Maybe/ hopefully our ii fwends will be jumping on the waggon in no small way.
When covid in China subsides in a big way I feel the airline confidence will rise. I've had my second bout of covid (still recovering) my first being Aug 2019. The big money is hoping the bug won't keep whistling around the globe causing re-infections for years.
