ADDENDUM: I've had this account for some time 'wife' thinks i'll never make anything of the tiny stake here so it's kind of under her radar. My parents' and an uncles inheritance has kept Krakatoa well fed for a few weeks anyway.If someone sees me in the future talking to a friendly, interesting and decent woman, please hit me hard, ideally on the skull and quickly direct me to the local cats home where for less hassle I can find a less worrisome being to talk to in my autumn years ! --- A 2%+ finish would be v. welcome. The int rate 'medicine' upset poor Mr. Market. Gatwick flight cancellations mentioned on first article on BBC news. We might have made a better rise. sundezema: I can't risk the 'wife' finding out my activities as she trawls the credit agencies and God knows what these days. She's like a one 'woman' CIA. Too much hassle to set up and risk being found out. Less stress waiting for liberation.
At least with the few quid I have in shares it makes me a bit sharper (!) than before so I should even turn my tiny IAG stake into something meaningful. If not i'm off to India or Brazil with my state pension for cheap living later on. At least the food really good ! ATB
