RMM the extended protection is key, IMO. It's likely that TYK2 is still 5 years from market. Getting a new patent effectively resets the countdown. More time means more profit should it get to market. It's as simple as that. Ar Stoney said this could be the last piece of the jigsaw that a potential partner might be waiting for.

Don't think it's anything underhand or secretive. In my experience, not just SAR. You only get news if the patent is granted and even then, it's not usually deemed price sensitive. If we do get it and the price spikes, i'd expect a raise on the back of it.

Hi Stoney - after your post and link the other week. A patent RNS is the next RNS i'm expecting. I don't think we'd know if it was rejected though. I'm with you with the thinking that this could be the catalyst for a deal to be signed.

Best scenario, IMO. Is SRA737 update, notice of milestones etc. first. This might see us in the 1p region again. Then TYK2. The potential for TYK2 news to spike the SP is huge but 5 x today's SP is obviously a lot less than 5 x 1p. I'll take any news but multi baggers work better when the numbers are higher :-)

Even a poor licence as per CHK1 would see us past 1p and we have 2 of them to licence. Our main problem is the current SP. If we were sitting at 0.8 like we always used to, we'd be looking at 4 or 5p on licence news. Trouble is Sierra have shafted us. We all thought it was a bad deal when first announced, then they started gang busting CHK1 and we all thought they were a fantastic choice for a partner. NG is a chancer but I do think he has a plan. This year is going to tense. The board and we, the investors need to keep a cool head. Honestly, if Sierra sorted themselves out and we had an inbound milestone and therefore financially independent. This board would be so much different. I'd be saying 5p minimum on licence for TYK2 but as it is . This was just a long way to say I agree with Utars 1p for now.

I suspect that, whatever the number, all CHK1 potential is tied up with Sierra, we would have known if otherwise. Good find though. Puzzling why Sierra isn't pulling out all the stops to progress it.

It's rubbish Utar. I'm with Halifax, I checked and I could buy. I didn't but I could've. I'm still watching PYC but today's news is just a contract renewal. It doesn't cover cash burn for the year. Another contact win might see the sp rise and stick.

Yep, all sounds ok to me. Sound like they were pragmatic with their answers? I think that's how we all should be. We are where we are. Sierra have thrown a spanner in the works. Not sure I liked the lupus report answers as in they would only have told us the extremes. Very Good or Very Bad but I guess that's why we haven't had a bite from any suitors yet. Hopefully, when it is released, it's worded in a way to get the herd coming this way :-). As CFP says, we just need to let them manage it through to completion for all our sakes. As I read the updates. We've a lot of info to look forward too.

Looks like a classic case of setting expectations. I suppose the threat of being voted down might force their hand a bit. If Strand are reading this and I believe they will be. We might get an RNS this week, reiterating the timescales.

It's just people not wanting to miss the boat. They see a rise and get FOMO. I'm not knocking it but the volume is tiny. This isn't a leak. Hope I'm wrong though. :)

Could be wind, Thoth? :) hope your right though. I don't spend a great deal of time on here but over the years, I must have waisted hours and hours over the years just looking for that smoking gun and checking for RNS.

I was watching SAR but not invested when the 10\10 RNS dropped. Managed to get in early doors and was looking at a great paper profit but couldn't sell. Managed to get out with a small profit and its been a love\hate relationship ever since. Started buying again when the sp dropped to 0.18p, built a decent holding and sold the lot @1.06p if memory serves me right. I then bought in again @0.7 ish and have been here, adding and selling ever since. This last year is the first time i've ever been in the red with SAR. All LTH know when it goes, it goes. Ha ha. Sometimes on very little news.

Yeah, been here, on and off for 10 years. I don't want any old deal just because investors are jittery. I want the best possible deal. I'm happy with my investment and willing to lose the lot if there is a chance of 5p or more. FWIW, I believe we can get 5p and maybe much more.
