Hi Stoney, yes but I had forgotten about the Aurora deal! and take your point about the runway length. We only need one of them to come and we'll be ok. None of us could have predicted Covid 19 throwing a spanner in the works but for SAR it only appears to have slowed things down. Like I said the other week. The other diseases haven't stopped killing people. At some point the pharma machine will start up again.

I agree with Fadec. If we are in talks for 1801 or 1802 for that matter. It would be highly unprofessional and possibly illegal under the terms of an NDA to start opportunistically start telling the world we might, MIGHT, have something that could help with COVID19 treatments. The fact they haven't said anything should tell us that they can't. We need to stop stressing on the SP. We know we have a cash runway of 12 months. Let's leave them to it. If we don't have a milestone or deal for TYK2 in that time. We backed the wrong company.

One good thing will come of all this. There will be loads of treatments for pneumonia in a couple of years time.

I agree on RMM. If our TYK2 (1801) is worth investigating for C19 it will be done by whoever buys it from us :-). If we are in NDA territory then only the active participants will be able to look at it anyway. That's why Tim was lukewarm. I reckon his hands are tied and we don't need the extra complications. The data and tox studies should be enough for someone else to take the baton and run with it.

It's a nice distraction, thinking that 1801 could help as part of a combo for COVID 19 treatment but I still think ours is nowhere near ready. All the links I've seen have been for established or late-stage trial drugs. 1801 hasn't even been in P1 yet. Problem is, the race is on now. If there are any winners, it will be in a few weeks\months. The only positive to this is, whoever buys 1801, will have an eye on what it could do in the future. The pharma industry was caught napping this time, I bet that doesn't happen again.

You still need to make enough for testing and then if it worked you need to go into manufacture mode. I'd love it to be a fit but I don't believe ours is ready yet. It would be amazing for us if they could pull it off though.

Even if it is a fit for 1801 didn't Tim say they are having trouble making enough of the molecule to test at high doses? he said they were having to find creative ways. how would they even scale that up?

Honestly CFP. If 3p was the actual value attributed to SAR by the industry, I'd happily take it. I think we are worth more and I'd rather get the best deal we can with risks attached. Then I can make the decision whether or not to sell or hold.

No one is going to give us a deal like that. We have to carry some of the risks or not get the potential true value. Can't have your cake and eat it. When news comes. You could always sell at 1.5p while the rest of us wait for the big money?

Kind of agree, Cold Fish but I want the real value. Sounds like you want anything. Personally, I haven't hung around for all this time just to get my money back. I would be very disappointed to see us sell then watch another pharma develop it into a blockbuster. There is no way i'd vote for a low ball offer. I'd rather risk it all to get true value.

If they bought at 0.25 last week. They made a nice little profit. In the recent market, why wouldn't you take any profit? Most traders on AIM are happy with 10% profit and they don't get attached to shares. The LTH's nearly always lose out.

Could be nearly 1p a share divi, based on the high value. Not to be sniffed at. It all adds to the value. Let hope the Chinese have more luck with the solubility issues than the experts that SAR used.
