So, people with sizeable holdings not in an ISA (I’ve 230,000) would have to keep selling before the dividends and buy back after then? I DO have approx the same amount IN an ISA. 50p a year dividends would be splendid though.

Beresford, I DID lead a very boring life. I never got around to leaving home so I’ve never seen a mortgage. And no children helps. So the cash piled up. I’m very fortunate.
