My effort:
Fred lives in an old folks home, and cannot get to sleep on his own. Every night Ethel goes into Fred’s room and holds onto his ***** until he goes to sleep then Ethel goes back to her room for the night. This had been happening for many years, until one day Ethel announced “I’m going away for a week to visit my family”.
Fred was very concerned and asked “How will I get to sleep without you?”
Ethel replied “It’s all sorted. I’ve asked Doris to come and sit with you each night and hold your ***** until you get to sleep until I get back”
Fred calmed down knowing he would be able to get some sleep.
Ethel went off on her visit and every night Doris came in and held Fred’s ***** until he went to sleep.
When Ethel came back Fred didn’t want her to help him get to sleep anymore, he preferred Doris.Ethel asked Fred “What does Doris have that I don’t?
Fred replied “Parkinsons”
