Beresford2021, I’ve wondered the same but I can’t imagine the BoD are bothered as they’re the majority shareholders and surely they want this concluding ASAP? And if the BoD read this BB they should know we’re going nowhere!

Hi Ian. We too are with E-on Next. They tried to fit a smart mater here but couldn’t for some reason. They’d previously cancelled a prior appointment but did give us £30 off the next bill. We pay whatever it is each month but by direct debit (I’ve not used cash for a couple of years now apart from my chiropodist who doesn’t have a card machine and the local Big Issue man who does have a card machine!) Also, here in Lund (not Sweden!) there isn’t gas so we have to use oil which is delivered every two months. Our landlord gave us a tip to get the oil in the summer as he paid 18p a litre. You’ll have to move up here!

Bellers, don’t get a Targa, they’re too heavy. A normal cab is better as it’s lighter. Targas suffer from buffeting at speed when the roof’s down.

Hi Les, hope you’re well. All I know is Richard Dugdale on Twitter values the whole company at £4.43. He does explain it in more detail. And in light of some other company being bought for nearly double it’s worth recently that’ll mean Eurasia going for around £7 per share. But what do I know?

Mike56; ah, Milnrow. I used to live on Broadway, Manchester and cycled a lot. My route went through Milnrow, up the Tim Bobbin and onto Hollingworth Lake. For regular readers the Tim Bobbin is a pub at the bottom of a steep little climb! Happy days even though at 14 stone climbing it was a little tough.

Cheers Popeye, yes The Welly is just down the road. We go a lot and I try to go every couple of weeks for fish, chips and mushy peas.
