Hi Senderos, Father Ted here. While I am grumpy to see DGR selling ALL shares when they're so cheap compared to peers, they do need to put some cash into Ricca, and MacArthur, and probably the Lakes oil fund raising as well. And obviously the solgold holdings are considered off limits, (although selling 4 million out of 204 million would only serve to advertise DGR's discount to listed holdings, if it were up to me.)
The buyout metrics won't be based upon your recollection of some other guy's wonderings from a bulletin board. You're transparently mal-intentioned...time for another user name.
Well sure, that that's one scenario. But don't believe it just because you've imagined it.
It's actually not that I'm biased or taking cheap shots...rather it's that I can count! Xtr has the lowest grade porphyry that anyone has the balls to promote. Yes it has location advantages all up, but nothing amazing. Solgold is rated as one of the most likely takeover targets, whereas no one is taking over the 372nd best porphyry, even if it's in nsw. Their own numbers said it needs $5 to have a positive npv. If you don't understand the meaning of that number, then I give up.
Hang on, it does includ3 the latest drilling, they confused me by saying it was an oct 26th cutoff, then including results we only got last week.
Xtract's resource is not as rich as Porvenir. Did you see their lolable scoping study that needs $5 copper to approach viability? They've had a few better holes since, but the overall tenor is established, and it's probably sub-economic. As for Porvenir, a lazy 1/2 billion tons of open pit $40 rock is a good start. The resource does not include their recent - and best - drilling results.
And do slug & quad sit together in the same Albanian call centre? Comparable MO's, imo.
That's exactly the dickish vibe i was alluding to.
Will the capital outlay for prestripping Tandayama be justified by the 3-4 years of income while they build underground. A clear yes imo.
Rignto. But don't try to be the new Quady by slinging backhanders with every comment.
Mate, I'm hoping for no buyout just yet. But we all have our own timetables. Gimme the first 10 holes into the first 10 porph targets, and I'll accept the market verdict. Elsewise, I can't believe they nixed my post for alluding to the great James Blunt.
and it would be WW3!
Many good questions. I'm guessing that a new CEO brings a few different answers.
So they've essentially "hit" on every hole so far, except for hole 15 ( or did you miss that one out?) Either way, that's a bloody impressive strike rate. The grades so far have been good/mine able, without being amaazing. But a starter pit that pays for the plant in turn makes all that .4% - .5% rock into a nice little earner.
The definitions are flexible, but according to Ravishing Rick Rule, he defines it as being in the lowest decile for production costs, and as having at least $10 Billion of metal in situ. I imagine a deposit like Porvenir could perhaps be in the lowest quartile for copper production after its gold credits, assuming all else falls into place. But a bit early days to have an opinion. I think the drilling so far has demonstrated multi 100m ton resource, but I'm only guessing.
I'm sure it gets the job done......eventually.
Whereas Cornerstone are offering topless handshandies behind the shelter sheds, no need for first names.
I have a list of complaints about dgr, but I'm certain they'll only pry away their solg shares from their cold dead hands.
Give me a break!
Irr only has titanium on one of it's afterthought properties...thankfully there is none mixed in witht the lithium!
I have a quick question also...if they're splitting off the gold properties ...and the lithium properties are highly likely to be took over, what happens to the misc properties...iron, al/ti, the May Queen shares, the other miscs. ? It seems to me they should move over with the gold properties when the two split up?
400 people on site doing make-work jobs...is this Cascabel or Jonestown?
