ADVFN is generally classed as the cesspit/asylum where emotion filled posters go to 'thrash it out' and 'settle scores' with one another but there seems to be more of that taking place on the He1 LSE bb at present vs their ADVFN counterpart bb which has to said is unusual.

There are far worse bb's out there however.

VAST bb is usually a good example of pure rampers vs derampers both sides typically light on detail.

UFO bb has decended into chaos over the past few days with abuse getting hurled right left and centre from both sides and very little company details. Just point scoring .

Then you have the 'punters favourites' PREM and COPL which both suffer from lots of posters having wild irrational mood swings and sentiment can ebb and flow with the tides.

I can be hardly bothered to post on any company bb recently, but if I do, it has generally been some of the more quieter ones. Reading some of the other bb's it's just entertaining half the time.

Below cynical take just for a laugh...( Don't take it seriously in any way) ... just my personal thoughts on how even a worst case scenario could still provide a decent trading opportunity ahead.

Step 1 > folk reminded that we are fully funded for the planned drill

Step 2 > some pop up media advising that things are looking extremely positive and all is on track.

Step 3 > announce some shows of a new working helium system being encountered from only 70-80m depth and that its incredibly exciting as we have a further 900m drilling to go and that if analogous mult layer traps and systems are witnessed all the way down we are looking at a globally significant discovery

Step 4 > Rampers flood the bb 300+ posts a day talk of 50p-£1 imminent SP.... Price action starts ticking up almost on each and every buy, SP does 50%+ in a single session and the herd arrive. Ramping reaches fever pitch and all social media sources are exploding with rockets and fireworks. Charlatan chartists appear talking about projected breakouts smashing through previous resistance levels and the nailed on moon shot opportunity.

Step 5 > Throw a quick placing in to take advantage of the volume and interest and state it was an excellent opportunity to increase our institutional support and provides further cash as the present target clearly warrants additional near term exploration well drilling.

Step 6 > Unfortunate collapse of the well casing leading to a catastrophic set of circumstances in which they needed to plug and abandon and re-group ahead of what should now be a very exciting 2024 drill season given the gas shows recorded in the field... follow up with a long RNS talking about the complex geology and need to bring some specialists in to better map out the wider basin.

Step 7 > Declare this drill season a genuine success and sincerely thank all shareholders for their support.

Lol... I'll still be in for a trade at step 4 :-))))

Even If they do raise and the drill doesn't work out I suspect there will still be trading opportunities ahead of such events

I'm always highly suspicious of any CEO who looks like they are reading from a pre prepared statement in their interviews.

I think it's why so many LTH's get dissolutioned with AIM BOD's who at times come across as ambivalent often when the SP is aggressively on the slide

Reading between the lines is made even more difficult when the messenger themselves is reading from a script! :-)))

Just been reviewing Adriatic Metal. (ADT1) again following their discounted placing of 25m a few days ago at 170p

Their SP has moved up 12% to 192p now.

Fair comments, it looks a positive development if a little light in detail

Maybe another RNS in a few days to add some further detials and demonstrate ongoing progress.

This is why some of the short cycle high output oil fields can generally more readily raise bank debt to finance production costs, regardless of where the oil price is in the market cycle whereas some of the really long field life but low output fields (often owned by a lot of juniors) end up being funded by death spirals, secondary equity finance and convertibles that can kill the SP.

With high volitility in oil and gas prices the financiers typically want a quicker payback period.

Some other commodities that aren't seen as being so volatile (such as gold) can often attract traditional bank funding with much lower IRR and longer payback periods with a solid DFS.

For resource projects with stale DFS reports, prospective lenders will likely want these re modelling to bring them upto date with present metrics for underlying resource price and funding costs.

For some this may strengthen the base case but for others they may have moved adversely.

Nothing like reprocessing some historic data to bring a long forgotten resource licence back into play when a particular resource sector is suddenly hot!

If the BRES SP rises into their DFS announcement to around 30m+ market cap but doesn't have or hasn't secured an off take agreement by the time they announce the DFS news

I'd be Selling the DFS news.

It's having an off take partner in place that commits to taking all that you can supply at an agreed market price for a fixed number of years in which the company can then amortise the cap ex costs that makes all the difference for many non oil and gas or non precious metals resource plays.

> The DFS shows the bank that the project economics work.

> An Offtake agreement proves their is committed

Long term demand for the resource at an agreed price.

With both in place the funding can be accessed

Unlike oil and gas where the underlying commodity is freely traded on established global exchanges.

If ACP announce an off take with a Chinese partner to unlock the project financing

The SP would rocket.

I recall folk ramping away about ACP over on the BRES bb back when ACP was valued around 30m market cap.

The ACP rampers where claiming ACP graphite project was miles ahead of BRES in getting into production etc etc.

ACP had got their DFS and just needed to secure their funding......

2-3 years later....

Most appear to have sold out over the past two years from boredom of waiting for financing news.. leaving the LTH faithful holding the bags for now.

It's now down at 5m market cap!!

The ACP DFS is as follows

pre-tax NPV to US$430m and IRR of 91%US$985m pre-tax cashflow to be generated from initial 15 year mine life utilising just 25% of the resource, which remains open in multiple directionsoffering significant further upside.

All looks good... however.

With interest rates having shot up from zero that will substantially change the project economics for many of these mine start ups that require 100% project finance.

When you couple that with the fact that the graphite price hasn't taken off as many thought it would. Getting a committed long term off taker on board who can inject the project cap ex becomes the game changer.

Can't remember who mentioned these previously but they have released an RNS today on a contract win......

I've been watching to see if they would drop a game changer RNS after the recent market sell off.

After an initial spike up first thing this morning, its now sold back off so looks like there wasn't enough meat in this one.

I think if there are juniors that can avoid the bucket shop flippers and vulture funds they can move rapidly.

That was de ramped massively over on hot copper to get the price down..

Now lithium resource potential plus decent size gold resource its been cheap entry sub 1p.

I'd keep an eye out on news from ASX as seems to be some delay in feeding through to LSE.

GSCU > continues to show continuation of its rising trend and bucking the sector.

But as mentioned it was funded down at 1p by family office private equity.

Given its run up to 3p I'm wondering if the ii's will want a piece of the pie ahead of drilling?

Nasty after hours placing RNS that will see the BB desend into a frenzy.

SP is -38.65% in the past month alone which tells a tale in itself. This was a 30 x bagger from June 2020 at 0.1p it rose to 3p in October 2020.

That's a horrible chart since.

Typical of many junior miners.

At some stage sector has to bottom and then run again.

A bit like the hydrogen space is starting to do (PHE up 83%+ in the past month.

Bery painful for those LTH's.
