There's a channel on YouTube called: 'Money of Mine'

Its run by an ex-Miner an ex investment banker and and an ex-equiry research guy so I guess they are all now free to call things freely as they see it.

They have done a recent episode called 'where are we now in the mining cycle' which covers a lot of themes you have recently mentioned around liquidity and commodities prices.

They reference than long downtrend from 2011 through 2015 when liquidity just continued to cycle out of the sector YoY and over lay that in today's market with the various reason why we haven't yet seen an uptick in the sector.

it's an interesting listen.

They also discuss a lot of ASX stocks, so good to get a feel for what's moving elsewhere.

Proposed placing RNS at 88e

whilst PANR RNS "Independent Expert Report confirms Best Estimate Contingent Resource estimates totalling 962 million barrels for Kodiak Field"

Feels like there could be some serious legs in this if results continue to come in all across our licence packages.

That was a ballsy trade considering the recent SP trend.

There is a pump article / fake blog that gets recycled online every few months or so after a fairly well known stock multibags and is pumped out along the lines of:

"Missed (INSERT NAME OF RECENT MULTIBAGGER HERE)? This London small cap stock could jump over 1,000%+

“Investing in stocks like (INSERT NAME OF PUMP TARGET) today could be like buying into Apple, Google or Microsoft decades ago.

> CDL got given this treatment

> RC365 got given this treatment

There will be others and I suspect there will be another one along shortly.

A real company

I’ll point out that RC365 appears to be a legitimate company.

It has a decent management team that has many years of experience in the financial services industry. For example, CEO Chi Kit Law was previously Head of Banking Systems at MoneySwap Plc and Assistant Vice-President of Group Technology and Operations at DBS Bank.

It also has revenues. For the year ended 31 March 2023, the company posted revenue of HKD $16.9m (around £1.7m).

So, the company itself could go on to be successful.

However, the coverage of the stock that I mentioned above has pushed it up to very elevated levels in recent months"

Spot on re jay... Will keep observing for interest only atm. Lots of money raised over the years, dock built etc. These things can happen... I've seen worse value erosion.. the iron project at KDNC was once valued at around 800m when owned by AA from memory!!

The real nasty ones are when I see well known shorters start ramping some utter dross of a share ànd releasing some puff piece media article via a burner twitter account in a blatant attempt to suck in the Newbies / spike chasers only for them to dump their stock and then shorting into it before releasing some damning bear dossier all the while the original social media press ramp is now long deleted.

Unrelated but I did notice some sketchy twitter posts about BCE getting mentioned earlier.

Not sure If you are still in or have started to bank those gains?

Just like Tro said when we mentioned AYM / CNR and RRR last week.

Holding on after that initial discovery buzz rarely works out if the Company goes it alone and ain't in no hurry to progress matters quickly

Some serious allegations being made if you check their posting history ( detail on alleged offshore transactions by related parties)

Looking back at my notes. I closed out a few monentum trades in Lend around 1.50p back in June having got in around 0.9p. it actually hit 1.70 intra day.

I'm guessing Ria got spiked and is probably 50% underwater on that one now.

He was getting all sorts of abuse that day at the time & was probably busy fending of all the trolling taking place to notice the bid falling away sharply.

Apparently it went NT to sell just after I sold.

So I probably helped trap him in there.. oops.. :-))

Dai, you are right to an extent that a close eye has to be kept on global events rather than reading any bb's when trading PM's.

As mentioned earlier if Powell gives a speech on Friday along the lines of suggesting the Fed will continue to keep raising rates as high as they need to to get the job done that would probably negatively effect PM's in the short term.

The market has been buying this week as they expect him to say different, but the market is a fickle mistress.

I suppose the welcome bonus when trading commodities that are part of a market size in the trillions is that you don't have to read any of the comical ramping or de ramping seen on the small cap bb's even as amusing at it can be sometimes. :-))

You just trade the trade that's in front of you.

Technical indicators tend to work much better also imo.

They have taken Gold up today on the US open having tried to keep the lid on over the past couple of sessions.

Demonstrating strong support on any dips below $1900/oz

Silver now spiking up after US open.

3SIL taking off nicely now up 10% today and 22% over the past few days since that recent double bottom on the chart which is looking like an area of solid support for this 3 x Leveraged futures play.

Gold has been slowly rising for the past three days but the lid on any move higher atm has been kept on by a strong dollar.

Been interesting watching the US push the Gold price down on US market open over the past 2 days.

Presently trading around the $1900 mark, be interesting to see if the same is repeated on US market open later on today.

I think many are waiting to see if Powell in his speech this Friday gives any clues as to whether they are nearing the end of interest rate rises.

Maybe another 25bps to go.

When will interest rates roll over?

Think the whole market is watching and waiting for any steer on this.

Having 10 x bagged this year and 50 bagged from their 2020 lows.. even the last crux interview.was asking the CEO about exit strategy.

For me that means that even your average PI on a free ride should be looking to bank after such a rapid move north.

Around IPO days, they would have talked to anyone about the capital structure.

They won't won't to talk too much about it now.

It's pretty much all been flipped onto retail PI's since.

All the original seed investors & management have since exited with 10 x bags.

Probably not a discussion the present incumbants would want to be having right now.

Good advice also.

If you have the opportunity to get on a 'free ride'

Usually not a bad idea and allows you to 'run your winners' without having to constantly monitor the short timeframe price action

EEE has actually been a fairly decent BB.

Even back in the 0.8p days when it was quiet.

it was pretty much just some of the hard-core LTH (manlord / easy p / pepsi / 4Kandles) there wasn't really much negativity.

EEE has one of the more interesting histories of many exploration companies.

Point I was making earlier about these companies doing crux interviews is that most of the questions are the really tough ones around funding/ placements/ capital raises and capital structure. They also tend to grill the BoD on strategy.

If the CEO's are brave enough to do these crux interviews it dismantles the standard de rampers arguments.

Because if the CEO has been grilled face to face about how they are going to fund operations and when they will raise and what the strategy is. There isn't much left open for interpretation for de rampers to jump on.

Sadly, most CEO's would shy away from this kind of 'cards on the table' interviews and I suspect the reason for that is because most of them are there by the grace of another's hand and don't have the autonomy to either make such decisions and certainly wouldn't be allowed to discuss such matters

If your company CEO has done a Crux interview it's generally a good indicator that they are fully calling the shots and not just some puppet figure.

There are a few companies (like EEE and Azure) that can really go on a serious rip after a decent no nonsense grilling.
