Remember that patent updates are Wednesdays. Could FG be expecting that the 20th is when the patent news will land and he wants all the major stakeholders around him when it does?

The MM's appear to have suppressed this stock as far as it will go now everyone's stacked up and refusing to let go of their silver.
Hopefully we'll start to see the stock trade freely instead of sideways soon!

@Gideons, it's funny that they won't wash, but they'll use a mobile phone or keyboard made from the very oil that makes their blood boil.

Whenever I do a dummy sell for my holding, they want to bite my hands off but its nowhere near what you have.
When I go to buy they always limit what they'll give me.
Makes me more determined to stick around as it's like they're trying to pick us off one by one.

The MM's were clearly struggling to deliver shares last week, so it will make them happy for one day I guess!
Margins are so tight yet again, I wouldn't bank on all them sells actually being sells and many will be buys.

Do you think the legal expenses, legislative investigation surveys, plant and machinery, operating structure, insurances etc come to pennies???

@ocelot - possibly the potential buyers want to get the deal wrapped up asap, but the cash injection was needed to ramp up the installation and get pumping before they would fully commit, which is a win win deal to the companies and the investors who got a bargain rate?

Agree @notready1. As both QBT companies will only be able to demonstrate wealth on future orders and statements of intent, it will be difficult to put a price on either, so the shares will have to free run.

This is why companies like RKLB who are effectively "born again" struggle to retain a consistent share price.

D-Wave are currently trading at circa $10 a share and although they have debt, they have assets in the form of patents and are an established company.

Until FG shows all his cards, we can only speculate on what direction will benefit us investors in both the long term and short term future.

Different industries, but Travis Perkins recently demerged from Wickes. For every share owned by Travis, holders were given an additional share in Wickes. Therefore, if initially shareholders only had 1m shares in Travis, they now had an additional 1m shares in Wickes = 2m shares total.

Food for thought, if FG decides to demerge the ASIC from the parent company QBT.

If you have shareholders, it's not as simple as, a company have approached me with a large sum of money so I'm going to sell straight away to them. For transparency, the company has to be offered publicly, to get the best deal and ensure the best interest of the investors and show no back of house, brown envelope, fag packet deals have taken place.

It appears of the companies that have expressed an interest, 2 parties are serious and have the financial means to take discussions forward and all others were dreamers, so needed shooting down to save on unnecessary time and costs at the expense of us shareholders. IMO.
