That's the date the dividend is paid. They go ex-dividend on the 20th October. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been in and out of the Card Factory quite a few times this morning and it wasn't to buy cards! I'm back in again at the moment. It's very volatile at the moment, but I agree the drop is very exaggerated. Revenue is up and profits are down slightly, dividend has increased and the special dividend is a bonus. This will bounce back. As far as stocks go, this is quite good one, because there is certainly plenty of rubbish out there. Good luck.

WorldQuant have now closed their short. Could explain the recent rise. I reduced my holding yesterday and will sell some more today if it pops it's head above a £1. Holding anything oil related at the moment is extremely high risk. GLA. Popeye.

Every day it makes higher highs. I agree there is no smoke without fire. Something is definitely afoot. I'm going to reduce some of my holding today at £1 plus. The question is, how high is this going to go? GLA. Popeye.

The signing of the heads of agreement, with offers to pay up front was really positive news. Perhaps they've sold their remaining stake in Tazmania. It's making higher highs every day for the past week. I'm looking for it to push through the £1 mark and hold. I'm not complaining. Good luck. Popeye.

silenthawk - Fair play to you. Hats off. You're a gentleman. I would normally invest over a longer period, but these aren't normal times, hence I trade in and out. silenthawk - I noted your sarcastic comment last week, regarding the price of Ophir. It's now over 10% up, from when you posted! LOL. reggie72 - This is by far the best oil company. The others, ie PMO and TLW are carrying massive debts on their balance sheets. If oil moves up a few dollars, then this will move up above £1. ART1 - Good to see you on board. Good luck.
