Will AAOG aquire SNPC 44% share?11 Dec 2017 10:59
Just a thought, but does anybody share the view that AAOG will aquire the remaining 44% in the Tilapia licence from SNPC? Perhaps SNPC have been the thorn in the side for AAOG going forward. It seems that SNPC are extremely slow in paying their contribution towards the drill, if the $300,000 had been paid to AAOG I'm sure it would have been mentioned in the rns. AAOG were very quick to point out that they had their funds in place for "their share". Maybe the obvious solution going forward would be to aquire the remaining 44% in SNPC? If AAOG are exploring alternative rigs to drill 103, what was the $700,000 paid for? Will that be returned? What would be the cost, if any to extend the license beyond 2020 in the Tilapia field? To aquire 100% of Tilapia will undoubtedly require a placement, but surely this would light the fuse, with a 100% control for AAOG to move north. The way I perceive it at present, is that SNPC are holding AAOG back. Any views would be welcome.
