Those poor kids aren't going to be left next to nothing. What was once their inheritance, has virtually disappeared. I guess they'll have to make their own way in the world. It's quite sad really.

Does anyone know when the quarterly dividend declaration will be made? Obviously the last quarterly dividend was a month late, I think due to the AGM. Does it mean this quarters dividend will also be a month late? If anyone has spoken to IR, any feedback would be much appreciated. Atb Popeye.

ShaunBTM & Kenswayken - Good luck to both of you. When DLG dipped to 1.84p, I immediately sold Phoenix Group, L&G and VSL to release funds. Both my wife had considerable holdings in those companies within our ISA's. The proceeds from those shares, all went into DLG. I bought at 185p, 186p, 187p, 188p and the final tranche at 189.25p. The SP has ticked up nicely today, but there's more to come on Tuesday. Good luck. Atb Popeye.

On Tuesday 2nd August the SP will be in the 210-215p region. When the SP recently dipped to 184p, the smart, savvy investors were accumulating stock, whilst the dreamers and not so savvy investors were giving price predictions of 150-170p!!! There's an opportunity for a 5% capital gain between now and next Tuesday, plus a dividend of 3%+. This is all IMHO. Good luck to the smart savvy investors, who took advantage of the recent dip. What a gift, to be able to accumulate stock that is yielding 12%+. The dividend will be maintained for the full year and going forward, margins will be restored IMHO. Atb Popeye.

Thank you adv11 for flagging up the AGM agenda. I was also waiting for the dividend. Perhaps there will be an announcement this afternoon or tomorrow AM, advising when the share will go ex-dividend and the payment date. On dividendmax they have the payment date listed as the 30th June. Atb Popeye.

Warthog4 - Thank you for that. I've now transferred it on my wife's account and mine. HL are a bit crafty, they state that I had requested it to be held on account and therefore was unavailable to invest until 10 days after of the following month! Although my Aviva dividend is showing on my HL account, it isn't showing as available to invest? Does anyone know how to change this? The return of cash from my "B" shares was available to invest immediately. Any help much appreciated, as I would like to invest the dividend as well for additional Aviva shares.

hitman1a - Exactly, my point. It doesn't make sense does it? May as well hold for 450p. I'm really glad I picked some more up post ex-dividend for low 420's. Should be a nice rise up all the way to 450p, prior to going ex-dividend again on the 13th. Good luck to you hitman1a. Atb Popeye.

I think the SP will be around the 450p mark on the 13th May, it may well be a tad higher. I certainly don't see it going below 400p on the 16th May. I will be holding regardless.

TheTrotsky - Well said and well sumarised, I totally agree. It will be interesting to see what the SP will be on the 13th May??? I personally think it will be a lot higher than it is presently. It will be unlucky for some on the 13th if they're not holding.

Devon - I think you're missing the point. At close of play yesterday Aviva's dividend yield was 4.96%. Let's be generous, and extremely conservative and say the yield increases by over 10% to 5.5%. After consolidation, and with the forward guidance of the dividend increasing to 31.5p would equate to an SP of 570p post consolidation.

Someone likes it very much as they just bought 1,500,000 shares. I'm looking to add more purely for the dividend. With inflation running close to 8% I can only see the SP rising.

TheTrotsky - Thank you for your detailed analysis and explanation. I was already holding Aviva, and I have adding considerably today, after reducing in another stock I held. The way I see it, after we have received the final dividend and the B share £1 dividend and the consolidation has taken place, anything above £4.47 from the current SP would be profit. Personally I think an SP closer to £5 will be achievable after consolidation is my honest opinion. But as you say, we will have to wait see what the market will value us at. Good luck. Atb Popeye.

Inphobe - Now that Genedrive AIHL is installed into two NHS hospitals, they don't have a choice but to roll it out nationally to all UK hospitals. If a child is born in an adjoining NHS trust that hasn't adopted the technology, there will be absolute uproar. The parents would approach their local MP and go to the press. The same rule will apply, if for example the Netherlands were to adopt the system, Germany, Italy and France etc would also have to adopt the system. Wasn't yesterday wonderful??? I'm being offered 20p for over 100,000 shares, yet the ask is still at 20p??? Any thoughts???
