starresnstoff - It's still mandatory at the moment. My wife and I caught the bus to Mijas last week and the bus driver stands outside of the doors as you board the bus. Not to check tickets, but to make sure everyone has a mask. Some British tourists were turned away because they didn't have masks and the driver doesn't have a stock of them. A lot of the Spanish walk around with their masks on all the time. They will then sit down and take them off!!! It seems absolute madness to me, but I suppose they've got used to wearing their masks and it makes them feel safe. Like yourself, I also think that the covid numbers will increase significantly over the winter months in the UK. Covid has definitely not gone away and unfortunately will be with us for a long and continue to mutate. We all need to learn to live with covid and unfortunately testing is part and parcel of the new way of life. Atb Popeye.

beechknot - Thank you for your kind comments, and rooting for me to make a decent gain on my small punt. I also hope you walk away with a decent gain as well. I'm in no rush, I'm prepared to wait, but I don't think it will be that long. Just the slightest piece of positive news and the SP will move northwards. The same as it did in March when it touched 42p from the same levels as we are presently. In my opinion, on the back of any good news, and an increase in the SP, a raise will follow shortly afterwards. So it may be wise to sell fairly quickly on any spike IMHO. Interestingly at the moment, it's an extremely tight market for SP wise for GDR. Although the spread is showing at 4.17%, it is in fact less than 1%, as the MM'S are happy to offer 12.375p for large amounts, well above EMS size and therefore should be viewed as a positive IMHO. I'm going to buy a 100,000 tranche @ 12.75p.

I done extremely well with GDR earlier in the year. My initial buys were at higher prices, but I managed to accumulate a fair amount of stock at 12p. When it spiked in early April I sold out completely. I managed to lob some at 40p, but kept lobbing irrespective of the price right down as low as 32p, until I was completely out. At the time it was such a relief to be completely out, because at one stage I was severely underwater with my holdings. In the end I came out of it with a respectable profit and completely unscathed. I'm tempted to dip my toe and take a punt? Certainly not in a big way, as before, but I would buy around 200,000 shares. I would be really interested to hear the opinions and views from all contributors to this BB regardless of your position. The only thing I would ask, is that we leave the nastiness out. Thank you. Levon - You're totally wrong. Mooky fully expects his existing holding to be totally wiped out, as it will be for all shareholders. In return for playing ball with the lenders, Mooky will be allowed to stay at the helm, receive his salary and huge bonus shares in the new structured company subject to hitting the performance targets set by the lenders. He will be fine, but existing shareholders will get wiped. Mooky doesn't have problem doing that, because he and his family will be fine.

80% dilution is not very significant dilution. Very significant dilution would be 99%. The token 1% for existing shareholders would be considered generous by the lenders. If they get their way, existing shareholders would be left with nothing. One consolidation is the fact that it's still trading!!!

Cando66 - She will not be going to prison I can 100% guarantee that. You're clutching at straws. If the SP can rise 50%, it can also fall 50%!!! It was always a gamble, but the mention of prison for a journalist is absolutely ludicrous!!!

Tygra - Totally agree. It's absolutely disgusting that news like this gets leaked by the media, when it should rightly come from the company itself via rns. A lot of people are going to lose a lot of money. I appreciate it was a huge gamble and investors will speculate, but this is absolutely shambolic.

Personally I would take to the liferafts now, before they're all gone. This is now dropping like a stone. Take what you can now, because it will IMHO go a lot lower. Better to salvage something rather than nothing.
