If the supposed true value of these shares is closer to £5 and they can be bought back by GGP for half that why would you not you not do so. You can either use the cash generated or use the borrowing facility which we have available. Borrowing money at 5% interest and getting up to 100% payback makes good sense. It will also stave off cheap takeover action as our price steadily increases as we purchase. Or maybe a cheap buyout is the plan…….

With the extra income from the higher gold price they have the funds to do both. Their cash position is much greater then was envisioned when we gained our 100% control

If this stock is supposed to be worth 20 to 25p why do the company not buy back and cancel the shares. They claim they want a lower share count.

If our shares are deemed to be worth 21p+ and they can be bought at 12.5p we could obtain a 70% return and bring down the number of shares in issue. A no brainier for management

If the aim is to reduce the number of shares in issue and our price is 50% of the broker estimates of 12 month value then it would make sense to buy back 5/10% of our outstanding shares. We have excess income to that originally planned due to the high price of gold.

MH11, you may be right about it not being GDXJ but somebody is taking large volumes and mm’s are dropping to feed their need. This happens very often on a Friday.

I presume the drop in sp is to enable mm’s to obtain enough spares to feed the ETF shortfall. Check the big transactions at close of market!
