Extra disappointing for GGP as closing price is about 1.14 if I am right. Check can be made on London Stock Exchange website- closing prices. Perhaps yesterdays lack of this ramping chat room had an affect.

Has any dual holders of UKOG & GGP noticed that if UKOG rises GGP appears to be marked down arbitrarily the same day and vice versa if GGP rises- Coincidences??. Perhaps someone hates small investers making money on both at the same time. Roll on Dual positive RNS,s.

This is a LTH. Production volumes when achieved will financially dwarf all the placings/fund raisings etc that worry so many short term and other holders. The ones in the know do not panic. Keep the faith. This is big.

I still believe Newmont are after GGP for a song and will come back in. But for them the ploy to walk brought the share price well down and they are biding their time (with maybe another major) not only on one project but on the whole outfit. It would explain why the lid has been kept on this share for so long and the price falls towards the release of expected RNS,s to help offset any rise. The purists may say its all normal share trading. Food for thought, maybe?. Worth the gamble? I wonder.

Hey, Whats the problem. OGA encouraging production with Government backing to UKOG to become a producer - will need funding. UKOG will not be allowed to fail. Swallow your big losses if you have them and buy in when it reaches near rock bottom and hold for 2yrs at least- Massive upside potential for all LTH's with the courage to buck the trend and I am not ramping.

prospector, Many small investors still need to bring average down after being caught out by the old hype/Newmont pull out albeit temporary?. Steady small purchases in a rising market go a way towards this without the risk of a large investment. For some it is once bitten, twice shy. And who's to say that with all this anticipation of results being priced in, the firsr/second/third drill result (if reported separately) may disappoint the market if results not as expected leading to a temporary fairly significant fall. Ok, If rise was based on leaks probably no need to worry but we know GH can oversee a tight ship as he proved in negotiations with Newmont so do not bank on leaks. It is gratifying that we have upwards movement and this will, I hope, be backed up by results at last and I do hope it turns out very good for all LTH and indeed for all GGP investors. Heres Hoping. It is likely to kick off in June2018. Any finance problems will be overcome (re sad loss)/Possible new methods incorporated into testing at HH/ Hopefully OGA approval/immediate flow tests start June 1st or ASAP. All the hard work takes time and effort hence delays to get it right.. Testing/appraisal aim still 2018 with possible new wells. Does it matter if results prove viable production in 2019 or slightly later. If successful we all know it will be big. I do not ramp or deramp. but I must believe in the companies involved no matter how hard (past and future) the road to their stated aims.

Surely they'd be better off presenting to shareholders? or am I misunderstanding. 3 relatively minor share trades reported on Monday leads to almost 3% drop before this contact? accepting there may be unreported trades. Where are we going I ask? If, buts, whys and wherefores so to speak. Confused?. I am.

Bit of research-probably nothing new to most from simple Google search. Share ownership of UKOG. Date-about the 1st May. Institutions 81% approx., Insider 5%, Private companies 2.5%, Public 12.5%. (Not exact figures). Intrinsic Valuation Sept2017 approx. 12.2X, Mid april 2018 E2.4X. All factors priced in except OGA Delay reason and associated HH Flow test Delay. Only big sellers were the French around Christmas. All shareholders sitting on their hands waiting. Which way will the Big trades (1st indicator unless sold a pup to start with) go when its all sorted one way or the other, That's the gamble. Trouble is PIs are the last to know of anything major. But DYOR as mine is not necessarily very accurate.

I have always had faith in this share and in being able to extact the Oil one way or the another. The only reason that I can see the OGA would delay important decisions would be a) Dire overall financial position of the Consortium. b) Incorrect procedures followed by the Consortium. c) Unreported behind the scenes activity. d) Political interference. Anything unexpected could happen and probably will. That why I have stayed in. Suffer my losses and I have mentally written off the remainder of my investment. It sure is a gamble- 50/50 up or down..

Perhaps Newmont decision was more strategic in that costs involved in proceeding would likely be astronomic and other big players are also in the overall region. If Newmont went in it may upset the applecart re workers, wage rates and everything else connected. But there is only one deciding factor. GGP have to prove beyond doubt substantial amounts of Gold /other minerals at at least one of their projects as they are not able to mine themselves- Stating the obvious I know but that's the gamble. It will not be achieved by talk alone but by actions.

After years of faffing about exploring huge areas why don't GGP Bite the bullet and raise funds to dig for their Gold. Firetower near surface quotes if proved or suspected surely gives them the opportunuity to become producers. A smallish number of ounces would be a start let alone a 1 million target. The Australian government are encouraging gold prospecting in the green areas. Gold Road (ASX) in the broad area (Gruyere) etc do just that and there one of the largest Aussie gold producers. Individual Prospectors have occasionally struck gold and other minerals in the outback over the years. What do locals think of GGP.

As an ordinary LTPI I decided to review the research I had previously carried out to remind myself and try and see sense in it all. The first obvious thing is that the GGP website has no news/RNS from the period that Newmont were involved. The current company RNS details on HL only go back to post Newmont Walking. Has the Newmont period been wiped? or is it the result of incompetence on the website/failure to update website? Surely this information should be displayed/available to all investors. The first ramping RNS to mention 'may contain multi million ounce gold deposits' was on 12/1/17(drilling results at EG) - A CB comment when he was CEO. Shortly after GH was appointed CEO with share options of 3000000 whilst CB had share options of 24572961. GH along with CB went on to reiterate this comment many times. Metal Tiger became shareholder and not long after NM were invited to investigate. Jumping forward a year(approx.) If Newmont had confirmed the 'multi million ounce comment' at the end of their investigations or indeed made a play for EG or GGP as a whole we know the price would have rocketed and it would cost NM a lot more to proceed. No reason was given for NM walking either by themselves or by GGP. Pie in the sky, maybe, but perhaps NM DSG did confirm the GGP drilling concept and also/moreso at deeper levels but kept it to themselves (as may have been their right). Certainly suggesting to GGP that the DSG results (which were almost certainly true) indicated a resource away from the main focus area has took the focus away from GGPs original findings(and possible further investigation/drilling there) resulting in a delay of potential news(New mmi scans and new drilling) and in keeping the share price lower for longer as well as someone/an organisation regularly selling a quantity with the same aim. If NM were still interested a clever ploy maybe so perhaps they will come in soon?? before latest results are known. Who knows? So many unanswered questions and I am not either a ramper or deramper. The share currently does rate as a pure gamble in my eyes.

Toad, You concede good results at Ernest Giles may lead to rise so the share cant be as dire as you have been warning everyone about. Who can second guess what majors may or may not do with EG or elsewhere. Any subsequent price fall may be investors taking profits. There are 6 other projects that may or may not do similar. Surely worth the punt for those believers who have already taken the risk or who are willing to take the risk. High risk for high rewards. High risk of wipe out also but That's the Aim Game. Caveat Emptor?. DYOR.

You got LUCKY a long time ago with GGP and now because of this you think your the Bees Knees investor who now has the right to criticise all others and cannot be criticised yourself. You are on course to suffer a big fall. What goes round comes round eventually. I would not like to be in your shoes.
