Agreed and those who complain about lack of news should study the latest Havieron presentation which shows drilling results (GGP and Newcrest). The trick is to read/interpret them as ASX investors do. You soon realise the deeper Newcrest go the more the grade increases (Had006) with even deeper results to come. I am no expert and this is a very simplistic view but imagine the expanded areas around the drills and the potential capacity of gold/copper that exists. That is why they are going all out to quantify their finds.
But remember all this came about by GGPs original exploration concepts and subsequent modelling/drilling techniques which highlighted the potential to a major. The future is indeed bright.

Primorus loss due to other investments loss/disposal and £264M Admin costs. They still have a 4p target ( 135% approx) for GGP so are not going to sell short term before Newcrest JV delivers by way of share price increase for GGP if all goes well.

Interesting read. The case is there for the long term view and Newcrest seem absolutely correct in sticking to the negotiated deal without the possibility of a full takeover of Red Chris. Red Chris will earn their 30% come what may provided they pay their 30% contribution to expenses. This should account for the Long term confidence of large and institutional shareholders and their non dependence on daily ups and downs.
GGP should be in a similar position eventually what with Newcrest pursuing rapid policies to determine/confirm the extent and volumes of Havieron and others in the nearer/mid term.
Perhaps all PI's should relax and not over-extend if they have limited funds and hope its all proved up longer term by Newcrest and GGP.

No reply so far. Par for the course. I have sent a reminder but may be flogging a dead horse.

This was started back on or about the 19th June when Macmahon announced they were relooking at their Telfer dispute with Newcrest. Noted in my post of the 19th June likely new contract in the offing. They knew/guessed where this was going, even back then, and would not want to be left out of the equation beforehand at the crucial time.
This is positively ongoing encouragement to all holders.

I have complained about HL to HL many times about the misreporting of prices and trades and other things. They are like the FCA when confronted with queries. Provide proof they say knowing full well with a fast moving on line system ordinary punters have no chance of doing this. The FCA should be abandoned and both given a dose of the Boris'es.

I have just sent an Email to Hill Dickinson LLP as Geo Company Solicitors/advisors(105 Jermyn Street. St James, London) via their website asking what they are doing to resolve the permit issue in Georgia and whether Geo actions are Legal/illegal regarding refusal to publish a RNS relating to details/information surrounding the permit issue etc. I have also mentioned that I will be contacting a number of relevant MPs concerning the issue.
I know its not much but perhaps a few more doing similar may help bring this issue to a head.

Dead right as all small medium term investors know. They also like to put the Dampener on the weekend so we do not build up a head of steam to hit them with on tuesday. They are absolutely determined not to let small investors make significant money on this or many other AIM mining shares. WHY?. And WHY is Hargreaves Lansdown a minnion of them. They only show the fall today as -01 on a closing price of 1.73 but they show todays opening price of 1.79. Crooked or what??

My prediction would be 0.95 because it wont be a bed of roses for 12 months at least unless Boris 'helps out' in the Countrys' long term interest.

GH knows the all the results but he also knows full well that he no longer needs the medium/small shareholders to fund him/exploration as he now has other funding sources and does not have to pass the begging bowl around to us shareholders. Newcrest know the same and they will only look after themselves not us. In all probability he is promised a seat on the board of Newcrest or more, or maybe even another major. We could expect a bail out soon or Buy out but the nature of the beast is investors in GGP are always chasing gold at the end of rainbows. I will give it another 3 years then will sell.

I do sound off from time to time and I am sure the majority of small/medium PIs including myself do not fully understand Aim and its workings which result in some unfair comments.
I have always supported this share with a long term view of 'hold for gold' and hopefully it will pay off well eventually but I now try not to allow my expectations on price to be influenced unduly but it can be frustrating. Good luck.

Theres been no real sustained buying (apart from one little run) since run up to Newmont and look where that ended.
Any buying now and its putting money into a blackhole on Aim. The MMs just lower the price to less than that paid and repeat and repeat the process over and over. Nothing to do with trades at all but systematic shenanigans. Think of all the top ups (incl the publicised big ones) that have been done for many a month/year and where everyone believes GGP is seriously undervalued and even with all the "good news" your going nowhere.!!. Sure most are in profit but GH has relinquished control of news on Havierion and elsewhere or will reliquish in future and therefore cannot pump the price. If there were to be a takeover sure the price would rise but not to anywhere near where it should be according to the Hype. We will find out the true colours of Newcrest soon as indeed we found out the true colours of Newmont and they are not completely out yet. Add Rio and any others to the mix and who can predict the future. It will not be an easy ride but we all must have faith in our judgement.

It is the first time that I can remember a reputable company actually highlighting these illegal practices to the FCA.
Many of us ordinary shareholders have complained to the FCA about this practice by criminal traders/MMs etc particularly on many Aim shares without a wimper from the FCA. They turn a blind eye and often will ask for proof if an ordinary shareholder complains knowing that they do not have access/resources to the type of information disclosed in the Burford RNS.
It would be great if all forms of illegal shorting (naked or otherwise) were banned as it has destroyed the confidence of many investors for a long time and more importantly identify and Jail the perpetrators. There would not be many MMs left.
The market is in need of a clean up.

I am sure many investors on this board deal directly on ASX. Is there an ASX share dealing platform/company that can definately be recommended by users in case GGP decide to move. HL (and others probably) do not want to know. I would guess the ASX is too honest for them to consider compared with AIM. Boris to the rescue perhaps?

Can I believe my small (70% of my money) investment will finally really pay off after the "stuck with" Roller Coaster of this long journey. Hope so.

Yes. Too True but I think a lot of super rampers remember the Newmont saga only too well.
I will be happy when we get to the actual amounts in ground stage at some/most projects hopefully with Newcrest which maybe a while off yet with a commercial case for mining some/most. The Report (if detailed enough) may be a good start in terms of grade/quantity and accessibility and for the future. There is the possibility that some Havieron drills/areas may disappoint but others may delight. I will keep everything crossed. I must not forget other minerals too.

This is similar to what it was prior to the Newmont debacle except that the share price is not being pumped up to 2.35ish before news.
GH could not or did not give out any drill/other info prior to Newmont decision and he certainly did not after Newmont walked and no one knows the real reason they walked even now. Perhaps EG was a dud but GGP dont want it to be general knowlege.
Am holding in the hope Newcrest drills will be good enough for them to proceed. If they are less than good overall or uneconomic to proceed GGP credibility will be shot to pieces regardless of hype surrounding their other projects.
The LTHs know the risks as we have been here before and nothing will surprise us so hold on to your dreams.
Waiting until an event presentation to release news should not be option for Newcrest or GGP as it is against the limited principles of Aim trading. But who is there to enforce these principles?
