The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Just listen to the Shaun Day interview here (part transcript on GGP Media). No ifs, buts re Havieron developments, THeJuri Joint Venture or the early stage exploration of the special 100% retained Paterson targets (Scallywag etc) with RIO not too far away. If there is another Havieron lurking in Paterson We and Newcrest intend to find it I would say.
Don't let any detractors worry you.
Signs are that share purchases now at this very low SP will give a realistic chance of over 100% increase in SP in the next 12 months or less.
Many LTH and Institutions were happy with purchasing in the low 30p's such was the investment case and nothing has changed even if we currently have fallen a lot -the big USA/Canada institutions have bought in at arranged mates rates.
Ordinary PI's now have this one off opportunity to take advantage (many already have) either to recoup spiked paper or actual losses on their 30p+ buys or hopefully be here for the bull run that will develop.
Hold long and keep strong.
GLA.
Not only bigger/better grades at Havieron, as always, ably demonstrated by PaddyGall but in a safe jurisdiction as well.
Ignore the putrid fools at many levels who try to scam you out of your shares with multiple dirty tricks -Just think of your future profits/divis for, most likely, the rest of your life. Let it be V day.
Keep hanging in there.
GLA.
He who owns the controlling share interest in both GGP and Newcrest own the future whether its Rio, Barrick, Newmont or other world size miners . The moves currently afoot may seek that position or work towards that position of power. The undoubted size of Havieron as will be well illustrated again tonight will be the final aim for many. Many may seek to split the treasure between them if they were to succeed (usual gentlemans agreement or devils deal which does not work once they have gained control.
Who can possibly lose out.
Long term holders-No unless they sell up.
The market makers who aid, encourage and abet cheap practices- Yes They will not win in the end. They will reap what they sow.
We may get hints tonight at trial runs/similar etc for processing Havieron ore (au /cu at Telfer during the decline excavations after the feasibility study at the year end resulting in a little income pre production.
Stay strong whatever.
GLA.
The numerous posters calling scallywag a duster just illustrates their lack of any form of knowledge/understanding of gold exploration/mining. Completely unresearched crap from those who rather than show their ignorance for all to see on this board would do a lot better shutting up and trying to learn the basic fundamentals of gold exploration. They may then get some respect.
Shaun days committed interview hit all the right notes and the point concerning GGP retaining 100% of Scallywag explains clearly the thinking if Rio happened to come knocking if discoveries crossed tenement borders. It doesn't need to be spelled out.
We LTH's are in tune with the GGP future and indeed he with us.
A very bright way ahead which will be recognized by those that count.
Hold for gold and GLA.
I'm not really interested in short term predictions but knowing the significance of early/mid Feb on GGP for the last 2 years I wonder if the turnaround will begin soon-perhaps-unexpectedly tomorrow! A Scallywag RNS with a little positive bias might start the ball rolling for a downhill run that may set the SP soaring up and away for the rest of the year. It would be the perfect start for our new man at the helm.
No disrespect to the brilliant GH.
Hold tight just in case and GLA.
tom_the_bomb,
I think we are all hoping that we are sat on excellent first drill results from the Scallywag drills but are unable to release them because of the Lab delays. The ones that have been released would not materially increase the shareholder valuation so could be released without any problems but would reduce the valuation -and allowing from them being used by those with ulterior motives to knock the GGP share price. I don't really understand the thinking behind that release-but perhaps it will become clear soon. We may or the GGP management at least know who our enemies are after all these recent Shenanigans.
I remember the quality of the first set of drill results released from Havieron and the excitement generated and its not that far away from Scallywag area.
Heres hoping that we are still to be pleasantly surprised but in all events we must not relinquish more shares to the market. Keep topping up if possible and if the Scally results go our way there will be many desperate to buy.
Havieron is our mainstay for the next 2 decades at least so hold long and strong. It is so obvious.
GLA.
No one was bellyaching (well not many) during the last 12 months. Now its the time for the pain but it matters not. Overall we have Havierion with Newcrest going hell for leather. This will turn quickly again and watch out if your'e shorting is the best advice because it will be .50p+ in a flash and I can smell the toast burning.
Hang on to those golden tickets.
GLA and those who know will not lose faith..
The momentum has to be spread over the next 20yrs plus.
Those who bought in in the 30s did not do so on a whim but on research results even if it was only through reading this board and for institutions the persuasion to invest based on research and by future facts/promises? as well. They will want their cake in the shorter term perhaps so the future rises will occur no matter what. Who would dare con an institution - it would be their Death Knell.
Hour by hour, day by day, Month by month price movements matter not a jot and it is the "How much capital increase will my one share achieve in 20 years and how much income will it generate"?.
Be happy that Newcrest and by association GGP spend money wisely in tried and tested procedures with little if any waste.
The future is secure and the rewards will come. Mining is for the long term and for many will exceed our life spans but our current actions can guarantee wisely spent current resources for the future generations.
We all know of course that money means nothing in the final reckonings but its nice if you don't have to worry to survive.
GLA and still hold for gold.
Just awakened from slumbers and switched on to the expected and needed big fix. Not a hint of disappointment here. We have what we have and its expanding at a rate almost unheard of and will continue for many moons in the future. Will enjoy the in depth read in the coming few days/weeks but now back to the dreams of explorers until daybreak.
Take care all and hold those golden tickets until the hands become numb under the bumb as expertly defined by Paddy. Thanks.
Don't think Scallwag was unduly ramped considering GH comments. He's always been top notch for me and has brought immense integrity to GGP.
I believe the Scallywag results published were just the shallowist misses that you are likely to get with RC drilling to play the thing down - Not for ulterior motives (it is likely there may have been interested parties negotiating at the time like Newcrest/Rio and still negotiating now) so witholding potential better results would be completely justified.
We will see these results in time and I look forward to this GGP follow on. Particularly if they were to be so good in one/two of the Scally areas that got GH salivating and generated potential interest from others.
With Newcrest results imminent and along with all the latest supporting news this could once again fly (especially with possible highly revised Mre/similar figures likely anyway) and just imagine if some good Scallywag results hit in the next few days also.
Can you really sell out at this time?
If Scally did disappoint (don't think it will), grin and bear it as Havieron is the established value for the near term/very long term future for both Newcrest and GGP.
As always hold for gold.
GLA.
LTHs know there will be little disappointments along the way but they also know that Havieron alone is the mainstay that will not go away.
A wise man will keep his golden tickets for the rebound.
Some of those traders who sold to buy back in cheaper may have been too late and may be out of the market at the crucial time when the rebound comes which could be at any time.
GLA and keep the faith. The overall value of GGP will not evaporate especially over time.
I feel that with so many GGP shares moving into institutional sticky hands smaller Pi's may have to adjust their views to accommodate a new way at looking at the market. The short term onus may not be in terms of guaranteed rises on good news ( apart from manipulated falls) but in the long term rise from the progression of GGP as a/to a mining company. I hope the relative steady rise continues at least for the current news round BUT
It may be a long haul to see the long term rise that most dream of here.
Such is the strength of this share the futures still bright whatever.
Perhap GH's last results RNS will be a cracker (assuming he compiles it) and you never know if he may traditionally drop it unexpectedly as is his want.
GLA and with Newcrest update to hit soon we may move along nicely.
All the speculation in the world will not hasten things.
It used to be that things grated but now its just a question of the comparative long waits which are not really that long in term of Aim shares and it's quite relaxed just holding quietly having been a bit spoiled in the past year (33.5 top ups are still good if you can take the opportunity).
Havieron will still likely be the King at present especially with lots of results/info due so soon. But what will happen if it were to be surpassed by this years GGP/Newcrest/others drilling potential in the province in the next 12 months or so?.
Wow, the thought is almost too much.
GLA.
Sandeep Biswas (CEO)comments On Newcrest News Release.
"We continue our journey towards potentially achieving commercial production from the Havieron project within 3 years from the commencement of the Box cut and decline. Mineralisation remains open in multiple directions outside of Havieron Initial Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate and, with infrastructure in place at our nearby Telfer Mine, we are excited about this growth project together with the support of our stakeholders we hope to deliver significant value from the Havieron project and our other exploration projects in the Paterson Province".
I look forward to the forthcoming quarterly Interim? results etc in anticipation.
Newcrest/GGP Joint Venture.
Every step downwards in the decline and the future trolling of the new depths of Havieron will keep a young man employed for most of their working life. If I were a young man I know where I would go for a surefire career and to develop my thoughts on gold extraction.
For those of us older each and every step down and along the way will see an incline in the share price and give the option of taking a good return for many years to come and as Paddy says the option to keep the money in the family.
Havieron will be King.
GLA.
The strength of GGP.
Onwards and upwards through time.
No reason whatsoever to shave bits off the bid/share price.
Using no news as a basis is a poor excuse for anyone and exposes their true worth for all to see.
Hold long and hard for exceptional rewards that will not disappear.
GLA.
It's pretty obvious you have immense knowledge of Gold Stocks as you have decided on Australia especially as you are a virgin in gold stocks investing and being able to recommend a surefire winner so soon is exceptional.
Your brain if you have one has turned to dust already my friend.
Don't waste our time again.
Its the usual holiday clap trap from HL& Co/others. Think its only done out of spite for a few hours. A lubricated trader springs to mind.
At least you cannot be panicked into selling unless out of hours trade.
Looking forward to 2021.
GLAAHNY.
We have been hear often when price is taken down before news so nothing to worry about.
Maybe a further opportunity for a further top up tomorrow unless GH & Co stuns the market with a closing day release of Scally results.
If that were to happen a manic new year might result especially on this board and the next opening in the new year but can I see a logic for this happening? Not really.
I also expect the process for identifying the Scally results, adding them to various GGP models and drawing conclusions/writing up the RNS may take a while longer than normal especially if the next CEO Shaun Day has to be brought up to speed on GGP practices/geological procedures and SD will have his own/fresh input to be considered.
It's all looking good for 2021 shareholders.
