RE: Sarepta1 Nov 2016 12:42
Look, Pharma in the US is a very corrupt space - all sorts of competing interests in play.
That is why I was saddened by Summ having no alternative, due to its inability to monetise its C-Diff program on a timely basis, but to form a collaboration with Sarepta. It has given up a good deal of autonomy in addition to potential future shareholder value, and in my view it will come under pressure from Sarepta to do things its way as they control the purse strings.
Its all about P2- if results are stellar I would expect Sarepta to be taken out. Its own treatment which has highly questionable results data will also face huge headwinds from payers, so Summ will truly become the last man standing.
