I agree with you. It's look like in buyback they prefer to buy "as many as it possible" not "as fast as it possible". If this tactic is a priority I think that small corrections on the shares price are possible. As in the past "three green" creates over 70% of risk in price drop.

Personally I expect that the price on the divi day should be 75 to 85. This level is a guarantee up to 3.8% divi payment (before tax). Over this level, as for myself, the risk of expected price drop is over double like 3.3 pence per share from divi. Anyone who is buying over this limit need to be prepare for price correction and need to have a longest-term perspective of your investment.

My English is not so bad, but it isn't my first language. And this f***g auto-complete is made me mad and angry As you said I am using sometimes Google Translator especially to translate specific economic English words. That makes sometimes some funny mistakes... I m sorry for that. I am always trying to use clear English to be understood, but I am a person with high sense of humour which using lots of comparisons - not all are have same meaning in English language what makes some problems too. Apart of that I am old men with sarcastic nature too. But all of this, when we are talking about stock market, should be understand by people who are invest for mire than a couple weeks. Especially that I am writing exactly what I thinking. As for me I think it's better to shut up than to lie or talking sh***t and and nonsense (which I recommend to everyone, especially on this forum). In my opinion when we are talking about stock market and economy I finished very good university, as same I have good knowledge and experience in this matter. I invested and investing lots of my money at stock market. That's my hobby, style of life and a way to confirm my knowledge and market sense feeling. Stupid ?Maybe. But years ago I invested lots of money that didn't belong to me too. Never, never again but that was a good school of the life and investment and it help me now to get some distance from some pepople there as same from some comments too. I started my adventure with stock market as a young man in 1992 or 1993 and had lots of good and bad experience on market, but I think thank's that too I am able to make a much more clearly and cool decisions. I know how stock investir is difficult, exhausting, mentally debilitating and stressful is. I am on this forum because I trying to help people to invest and don't make a stupid mistakes as well as not be exploited by the people who wants to manipulate emotions and market. I am always willing to listen to other peopl's opinion too. Everything else is a matter of knowledge, time and good luck. I am "old school man" when it comes to life principles and specific values that guide my life which are slowly losing their value for many today. I hope everyone understand what about I am talking.

As for me "friendly" in this matter means shares previously purchased by institutional investors who know MS and who are ready to make a deal with MS.

MS is able to control daily shares price and set the closing price by building demand for shares at a specific and acceptable by itself level.

But when I see added share's value after 4.30pm (over 40milion shares) I understand that MS had a prepared seller with already agreed offer price... Is that shares wich wer bought for a months and parked on friendly accounts ?? Sorry, but I don't believe in miracles.

It is worth remembering that in the case of ITV, the slow growth of the share price has its advantages. I do not expect a major correction or decline if the increase in two consecutive sessions does not exceed 10-15%. This also has an advantage for me because it allows me to slowly accumulate shares as new funds flow into my account, and at good price levels in relation to the expected profit.

But at the moment I am going back to my kitchen. Cooking is love & curse of my life.just after or together with stock market and my brass & vintage collecting.

As I think when I am looking for the price & volume Morgan Stanley possible started litte bit more aggressive buyback, ore we have new investors on the ITV shares. And "Time is clicking". If I am right about MS they should bought today more than double like before each day, meams over 6 milion of shares. We have a volue 3.68 million at 11.53am but they're able to stop your work any time of the day (I don't think that will do it, but we never know).

My friend asked me 2 weeks ago about price level accordings to my opinion buying ITV shares should be profitable. My opinion is dependent term of this investment.

6 months - £1 (profit expectations over 25%)

12 months -£1.30-1.50 (profit expectations as above)

1.5 year - up to £2 but if my expectations are being fulfilled it will be still space to invest with profit expectations over 25%

But like every time they are only my calculation, which are depending full stock market, international situation as the same politic like and economic. If you're investing on the stock exchange you need to look not only on the market but around yourself and you need to try to find potencial sources of the problems before they occur with solutions prepared in such cases.

But this price and target are only my (stupid ???) opinion

As I said before. In my opinion on this level of the share's price Morgan Stanley is able to squeeze the market up to 10-15 millions shares, but only when we have a bad market. Time is clicking. They need to start much more aggressive if they want to buy 100-150 million shares befor 11th April as I predict as a minimum target.

This is cheap considering today's close which I expect too.

Of course, there will always be those who buy at the minimum and sell at the maximum of the day. It's mean because a minimum was £0.7095 (up to 8.36) I lost £17. I have to survive it ;)

Sorry, but I am not believe when someone is announces on this forum that just spend £700K and bought about 1 million shares. But I remember this day, and as for myself is doesn't matter is it true or not tru, because in that moment I thought that it was a very good investment.

I understand that some are not believed in my 250K shares investment. But I think that to me and to you Winstanley money invested in ITV started talking louder and louder.

Nothing is guaranteed. Like the fact that we wake up tomorrow morning again.. Always is a question that are we belive in something? Are we believe that ITV will paid divi just after month from the day of establishing the right to it, or we want to believe people who want to destroy our faith and take care of our money ????

Just about my comment...

I said that one order of 35k shares made 0.8% growth of the shares price. Yes, and easy to check. But it isn't mean that one order for 500k wil made 10% up. This if of type idiotic thinking.

Like I said before. This transaction is showing how difficult is spend more than £10K in one transaction on this price level. We have in my opinion maybe 2-4 millions shares free float there which are used to buy-sell transactions on this price level for speculative investors. Rest is "parked" and some, mayby extra up to 10 millions we are able to see as "ready to sel" up to the level 80 pence - but only when we get bad news on the market. Otherwise potencial selling will be still waiting. All it means for myself that Morgan Stanley is able to buy up to 20 million shares for the price less than 81pence, and only when the market environment and the news affecting the stock market are bad. Otherwise, the whole fun game would last for years. They able to generate more stock supply in the area £0.85-£1.0, but like I said before as time is clicking more shareholders should wants to keep the shares to get a divi. And remember that 400 millions shares in buyback means savings and therefore extra profit for ITV of the amount £13.2 million.This fakt should determinate fast buyback. If you are thinking about this money is not too bad for shareholders, because if price will catch £1 they are be happy, same as if company will get extra £10 millions because company will generate an extra profit which wasn't expected for most of the people and market. Reaction - share price up again.

This buyback is win to win game for ITV shareholders. Just stay calm and be patient.

I not so happy that Morgan Stanley announced his purchases today. I was hoping that it would still be cheap on Friday when I received my salary, but it's look like my forecast of 80-85 has a good chance of coming true. Well, I'll just pay more.

An order for 35k shares can increase the price by 0.8%. This just shows how difficult it is to invest money at this price level. And the "lemon squeezing" needs to be carried forward by a few percent above the current ITV share price.

But once again it's only my opinion.

In my opinion if you are want to start yours adventure with stock exchange market you need to double think about.. Then when you choose your company and when you start buying her shares you need get a clearly understanding why this company, for how long it will be made and how long you are able to keep this invest, what you expect and how much losses you are able to accept. After that is good to make overview about forecast shares price, and which decision you should make at any from this levels. That should help you in the future to stay with cold head, not to be to optimistic or to pessimistic and especially not to be greedy. Any correctoins in own point of view about investment are welcome and necessary at all times as we continue to invest. And I recommend it to everyone here. Just like not being offended by the market, companies or their authorities. Because it's our money and we make decisions. Also the wrong ones. You need to be optimistic about your investment but you need to understand that you are not able to see all parts of stock market, all all the reasons that shape share prices. Stay humble and calm. And don't invest against your own thoughts. Several people on this forum should repeat this to themselves every day.
