You are right, but it means you need to wait minimum 3-5 years. This is reality if another war doesn't break out in Europe or Asia. This is the reality of the world we live in. This is the reality, which is based on forecasts from independent analysts describing the realistic possibilities of meeting market demand for new aircraft, as well as writing about Wizzair's shrinking business model, declining commercial margins, the need to reduce the number of routes, and declining operating profits despite a real increase in fleet utilization and a potential reduction in financial burdens. Organic business contraction is a perfect recipe for crisis or hostile takeovers as soon as the market is shaken by another epidemic or war. On this market, predicting the future and assuming investment profitability over a year have now become the shaman's prayers. JPMorgan cuts ITV price target to 103 pence - 'overweight'

This is the same JPMorgan that rates Warner Bros. Discovery neutral at $8 per share, and today the hostile takeover bid is $30, with the market price above $28. So I understand that, given JPM's views, large institutional investors will start a panic sale of ITV shares.

The performance of Warner Bros. Discovery's share price is a direction and an example of what awaits ITV shares when competitors enter the game. Scale doesn't play a major role here, because from ITV's European perspective, there's no similar player up for sale with such growth potential. All growth indicators exceed average market levels. The combined potential of linear television, online broadcasting, and the STUDIO as a content creator offer good development prospects. Although streaming competition remains threatening, it has realistically reached its limits. Rising fees, a growing number of paid services, declining streaming quality, content deletion from subscription databases, and intrusive advertising served everywhere and to everyone: all this leads to psychological market saturation, a gradual discouragement, and a return to piracy. Meanwhile, this part of the business is forced to fight only itself, as shareholders, deceived by management, continue to demand more and more. Therefore, ITV is not a choice for them, but a necessity. By blocking competitors from accessing content created by the STUDIO, many battles are won. And the linear business can always be transferred to another company, where it can only earn money for yourself, or it can be left to die. It's a small price to pay in this war. Let's also remember that the current offer for Warner Bros. Discovery is already almost three times higher than the initial valuations of such a transaction from earlier this year.

Instead of talking nonsense about kids on this forum, it's worth hurrying with decisions. The share price increase usually does not last long especially with this volume. And generally speaking, how old is our pilot? I often have my doubts myself... though not just in his case, as many users here are living in the clouds, demonstrating neither the knowledge nor the behavior of an adult. What I predict, the bottom will be truly painful. All the more painful because it will be ended with a takeover for peanuts, far below current share price valuations, far below the value of the assets held. This is the price of management's hubris and mistakes, though it's primarily the shareholders who pay. Is it any consolation that I sometimes think that this is how it was supposed to be from several years and couldn't have happened otherwise? Low-cost "European" airlines flying the flag of Qatar or the UAE. If you don't understand today what I meant by the inevitability of such changes, you will in a few years. And I hope I'm wrong, because this vision brings more than just foreign money from this countries.

The withdrawal of large investors from Wizzai's shareholding and the size of the open short position above 6.5% are not signs of the strength of these shares but a clear indication of the decline in faith in the possibility of long-term valuation growth.

Far more disturbing is what the new US policy and doctrine are serving up. If markets perceive a threat, a far more violent flight from the dollar than the current one will occur. This could threaten stock markets, driving up gold and energy prices, and carry inherent risks that no amount of Trump's actions will reverse.

Getting excited about errors on the LSE website or even previously undisclosed high-volume transactions without knowing the parties to those transactions is (no offense intended) simply foolish. The end of the year and the first quarter are approaching. In just a week and a half, trading volume on the LSE will practically drop by 60-70%. Therefore, shifts in investment portfolios will be made in the coming days, and the only thing left for companies with low liquidity (but with strong shareholders) is securing a favorable year-end settlement price. The only thing that can influence this are external decisions, although even such decisions are rarely made at the turn of the year. So, if something happens with ITV, it will probably be by to the end of next week. Then we will wait until the second half of January, allowing speculators to make strange but predictable movements in the ITV share price (although based on recent behaviour and volumes, I don't think we will fall below 80 pence at the close of the day, or rise above 89 pence without external leaks).

Today's ITV share price offers another opportunity to buy cheaply. The market was spooked on Friday after once again reaching resistance around 85 pence. Profit-taking (including from some purchases made a month and a half ago, below the 70 pence price), fear, and expectations of a drop below 79 pence complete the picture from Friday and early today. However, with low volume, exiting the market can be difficult. Returning to the market with the 0.5% transaction tax applied means at least 0.41 pence per share in transaction costs, and can be much more difficult with any larger transaction, practically eating up most of the profits made from the sale. I advise small investors to keep this in mind, because for now, it's the small ones who are selling ITV shares, calculating their profits at the eventual buyback price. However, as always, this is just my opinion and not my money.

And on Friday: Warner Bros Discovery up 6.28%, Paramount Skydance down 9.85%, NETFLIX down 2.89% (but after Trump's speach, after hours up 1.1%)

Now we're waiting for a concrete offer from SKY's owner, one that clearly reflects the real value of the acquired portion of ITV, along with (presumably) the rights to use Studio's assets in the coming years. I also believe Netflix will remain in this game. From his perspective, a takeover of all of ITV, separating Studio, and folding the entire linear television division into a separately listed company on the LSE, perhaps allowing it to be acquired by what remains of Warner Bros. Discovery, is becoming more likely. Knowing Trump, anything is possible on this side; the only question is how much Netflix will have to pay back. The British market, in its current state, will swallow any decision to avoid offending the US.

Arguing with Russian trolls, paid henchmen, bots, or plain idiots is pointless. History shows that in the end, everyone pays the price of someone else planned action and crimes, equally, for fascism, communism, or whatever similar system is wrapped in candy wrapper so the mob can pretend not to see what's coming. It's easy to say to Ukraine, surrender, allow yourself to be enslaved and your language, culture, and history to be destroyed. That's how Czechoslovakia was once sold. I understand that in a year or two you'll say the same to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, or Poland, still believing that the same fate won't befall you. Europe's strength lies in its unity. When it's broken, it will fall apart, bringing destruction to all its members. Russia is like a cancer devouring human flesh. For years, the US has been living at the expense of the entire world, although until now it was its defending arm. Today, it is becoming a same cancer as Russia, seeking only to feed at the expense of others.

If Ukraine collapses, your investments in Wizz Air won't suddenly become a goldmine. They'll be even more vulnerable to losses and bankruptcy. If you listened to the voices of reason, the primary barrier to this business is the lack of growth opportunities based on a lack of new aircraft or experienced pilots. And nothing will change in the next five years. A solution unfavorable for Ukraine, or rather, a temporary suspension of this impending conflict, will only be the final nail in the coffin for this company. And not only for this business.

Russia is a rogue state, instigating wars in Europe for centuries. Nothing changed after World War II. State power isn't built here on the wealth and wisdom of its citizens, but on corruption, violence, and the exploitation of other nations. Many nations were enslaved this way, though some managed to gain independence after the fall of communism. Yet today, nothing has changed in Russia itself, except that it has lost the ability to exist independently at the expense of previously absorbed lands. War has always been its fundamental solution, allowing it to continue and expand its resources. Today, it's supposed to be Ukraine, followed shortly by the rest of Central Europe and the wealthiest EU countries. And the US, in its current doctrine, clearly tells us: we don't give a damn about you, and only your money and technology matter. When the US imports these technologies and their production, for which, incidentally, their current owners and sellers will pay, it will say the same to those who bow to its demands in fear. Trump, contrary to appearances, isn't the worst thing that can happen to us from the US. Behind him are others, younger ones, greedy for unlimited power and ignoring the moral principles on which we built our societies after World War II. Your words, swingman, are pure Russian propaganda. You're either a fool or a Russian troll. Being a Russian troll doesn't hurt. It will hurt when we all have to live in the world Trump, Putin, or China are trying to create. It's ridiculous, because as consumers, we pay those who are planning our fate.

It seems my conservative approach to reinvesting dividends in my ISA has proven effective once again. As usual, I could have tried to ride the wave, maybe the catch a bottom price and saved £24 for a £3,000 investment, or I could have avoided greed and simply stuck to the rules. Today's 84.35p looks increasingly appealing, especially when compared to the 540,150 ITV shares I own, with an average price of 66.28p (after dividends). A troll won't understand; a wise investor will consider the wisdom of making long-term decisions and sticking to the rules.

Dear BigEgo: You're an incurable optimist and a charlatan. How can anyone entertain such visions? After all, as our trolls from the Tomalley sh... ..it team have been claiming for years, at best, ITV was supposed to end up in the dustbin of history at 50 pence per ITV share, although the prospect of collapse wasn't unheard of here either. And it doesn't matter that over the past 3.5 years (since April 2022 and the resumption of dividend payments, when an ordinary person like me started investing in this company) the declines have never materialized, and the dividend has reached 20 pence... God save us. Do you want our troll Tomalley with his multi-account troll's kingdom, to end his life in a straitjacket, a patient in a psychiatric facility forever? A valuation above £2 per ITV share would end him in perpetual diarrhea, and the straitjacket would become an indispensable accessory. And those numbers, not of losses, but of profits in other people's investor accounts, would forever tormenting him, linger and keep appearing in the remnants of his sick mind. That would eventually kill him. So don't ask Santa for anything..., especially don't say anything about NETFLIX offer which be make price of ITV over £2 per share...
