Lars Mejern Larsson has asked me if, in the light of what has been said in the question, I intend to take the initiative to make the permit processes more efficient.

In order to shorten the processing times and strengthen the work with environmental assessment and environmental supervision, additional funds were added to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's and the county administrative boards' administrative appropriations in the budget bill for 2021.

The time with UNESCO must come to an end soon

Beowulf Mining PLC and Kurt Budge were aware of the referral to UNESCO before the 30th October 2020 when an RNS was issued to shareholders. On the 27th November, shareholders were then made aware that BEM had been in contact with UNESCO and provided further information. This has now been with UNESCO between 3-4 months... let that sink in.

It’s not though, is it? Beowulf Mining is a private company, free of state markets. It would export to other countries as well as domestic markets. We are looking for dark clouds, justifiably so. But the legal case is made out, and anything that deviates from the law will ultimately be challenged.

And the more I think about it, the significance of a new mine at Kallak is huge - It shouldn’t be underestimated both in impact locally and on the SP. It’s worth fighting for... the Mcap of this company should be north of £500m easily...

Absolutely... sooner or later a line must be drawn in the sand, and colours posted to the mast. The issue of course is that ‘Reviews’, ‘new mining policies‘ and ‘referrals’ whilst viewed with optimist, are simply carrots dangled in front of the donkey - In this case Beowulf Mining PLC. Like others, I have a lot riding on this...

And legal action could realistically only be taken upon receipt of a decision - In this case a negative one. So in essence, to quote lbjj, “can’t say yes, won’t say no” actually works in the governments favour, as there is no decision to challenge. That said, there had been an ‘abuse of process’ which I’m sure would apply in Sweden.

The law EricDraven, is on our side. A legally compliant exploitation application with all criteria met. However sometimes the law actually needs to be enforced - It might just come to that if those charged with making the laws don’t abide by them.

It’s the ambiguity of the questions put to UNESCO that really concerns me.

This whole process has been borderline criminal... certainly corrupt, though Beowulf could never prove it. And to think at the conclusion of the election in 2018, we (Wrongly) expected a swift conclusion. And here we are, fast approaching our 8th candle and another election in 2022.
