A new mining policy, which is essentially what Baylan announced by way of a parliamentary response this week, and expected (in some form) in December 2021, goes some way to countering that. What it doesn’t do is deal with the elephant in the room... namely Kallak

His salary is irrelevant... and if you don’t like it, vote it down at the AGM or raise a motion etc. Firstly, it’s hardly a huge salary, and more importantly, I’d have no objections when he’s on big bucks of Beowulf MINING PLC as opposed to Beowulf ‘Exploration’ PLC. He’s playing the long game, and as is often quoted, he will take the nuclear option if/when it becomes necessary... Patience will be rewarded.

That’s Baylans ‘Get of jail free card’ in respect of further questions in relation to the general application process. He’s kicked that particular can down the road. But the Kallak issue isn’t so simple...

Beyond the update on the 26th, there isn’t much KB can say, but some form of update confirming any likely impact on our application would be reassuring.
