-- sorty should have read 'bad form' not bad firm - as I really have faith here
Thanks for your thoughts DJP and GraphicBoy. I must admit that I too was concerned by the RNS not actually naming the aquisition, which could have given some confidence or undiluted aporoval..... yes the lack of info will have troubled sime investors and those looking for a quick profit - but surely the Board should keep investors advised in this situation, not keep us hanging on, bad firm really, ..........one for their thought procees in the future perhaps. Depending on who is named in the aquisition might just make us all feel very relaxed whatever the placing price.
Completely confused by the fall in the sp - more buys than sells today, good vibes from every posdible angle from board to conntracts, trading oerfirmance over last half year etc etc - Yet the decline continues!
I know that the big expectations re China and the US may have a slight stain from the so called trade war but firm contracts are in place, and this Company should not be affected so what is blighting the euphoria we should be feeling from what we all believe could be huge? Surely not Brecit - just cannout come up with any logical answers....
Any thoughts chaps???
Remember the picture we all saw when young - the old guy on a cart being pulled by a donkey. The old man holds a long stick with a carrot at the end, held just in front of the donkey's nose. The objective is to keep the donkey moving forward to get and eat the carrot - but without immediate success - until the old man stops and gives it to the donkey. See any similarities with Alba?
Thanks for this insight in to CO's. Hope you are right as ithose trades looked totally out of the blue and out if step with the rest of the day's trading.
Fundamentals looking good - the next news is eagerly awaited for the next lift
The 12 million late sales will not help tomorrow's start. Can't reconcile just what is happening here. All the research we have done suggests the sp should now be gushing - looks like we have a leaky plug via late sellers??
Early news would help
Agreed wholeheartedly.
If David creates a monster we will all win - if he is ever bought out by Disney ultimately to enhance their empire it would not be sold cheaply - so could be a win win for us PI's.
After all my previous research Disney is my main reservation, as to David's ability to negotiate successfully in the US, should they start to lobby against his entry there - or perhaps it could suit their short term objective to let him start the ball rolling there?
Big win win on the cards perhaps - I live in HOPES or should that be delusions?.
GLA
Totally agree - but until then......
This Company has such great potential and David is creating such interest - my overriding thought has, for some time been - this is surely in Disney's sort of marketable area of expertise and exploitation - will they just let him take a position in something that would fit their empire quite well?????? or buy him out sooner or later???
Just a thought
Possibly - but strange timing given the progress made - worth a touch of caution till we know more??
Nothing odd about me or my investments. Have a care before you take me on - but I close now, will filter you and let you have the last word if you wish --- but if filtered I will not see it of course. Good luck with Alba in which we have a common iteredt and any other investments you may hold.
I did say I would not respond but.....
I have no problem with either you or you general chat but I find the volume too heavy on what you can not hope to influence. Thus my view that you perhaps do go on a bit much? Yes the research is sound but as you say Google is not clever - neither is spouting it.
We make decesions to invest or sell based on our own research, not what others say - and surely, to a degree must trust that a BOD have done their own research and due dilligence etc on our behalf (as shareholders) - so we can have faith in them to grow the Company - otherwise we should net be in there??
Whilst you have researched well, I wonder just what value you have added to the bb or the Company. All your environmental thoughts and facts should have been taken in to account by the BOD already, many months ago, and stirring up mud and distractions, and proving how clever yo are is of little practical use to investors and is not helpful. We agree to disagree , which is a true oxymoron. All I am really saying is please spend less time on here and look outside, why no check how many posts you have done in the oast few days. Please look outside, it may just
be sunshining. I will not respond further.
Albino - to answer your comments - yes I have a view on Alba - based on a risk/reward strategy (as with other investments - made after my own research). I do not need you guys endlessly posting comments and filling the board to your own gratification, like kids with noses glued to their mobile phones etc - check out the volumes on Alba compared to other more stable companies - such as LVGC or ARCM. Rampers and derampers I can understand in one sense - having fun trying to cause bullish mood swings or causing concern and panic - but at the end of the day we are all adults (some behave as such) and have made our investment decisions accordingly without your carp - dyslexic? You should yourself, please consider putting a sock in it - to the relief of the rest of us .
Pretentious bosh can make good wines sound bad and vice versa - but such comments are frequently irrelevant and unnecessary and show the character of the people trying to impress - or perhaps they just like their own voices or comments? I like the oxymoron idea though - nice repost
No reason to be a deramper - just prudent and realistic
Positive intentions but little of substance. Buying time to get things movine at best. Can't see any positive reaction re sp in the short term - we need action in the next RNS not just a play for time to get moving aimed at keeping shareholders on side.
