See your point - although posting researched known positives when the sp is sliding does seem like trying to shore up the slide, could be worth explaining why the slide is taking place and then justify why so manybsellers seem to have got it wrong.
Like you guys I believe arcm has a good future and am in for (seemingly) the long haul to be well rewarded hopefully - but fully accept the risks.
Very fair comment - I dont doubt your sincere research and postings - but perhaps a tad over enthusiastic which possibly irks me to believe this is ramping at times. Yes I am probably too cautious but truly do my own research which I prefer to keep to myself - which prompts me to add cautionary notes to what I consider to be o t t postings at times. That said we do have a common theme re the success of ARCM. I am not looking for an arguement here at all - but would certainly empty my glass along with you (or perhaps mine starts half empty????)
Should not really be a problem - and the sp drop appears unrealistic.
Good news awaited though!!!!! - when?
Lets get more banter going - bb too quiet
I have been concerned by this possibility as posted previously. Will undoubtedly have a damaging effect on the sp and undermine those having invested for a quick profit. Several months before any bounce in my view but long term holders may eventually see some reward - but I am not excited about the short term. Depends on exploration results to bolster this. Short term cash flow was the problem......
Spot on Jacksdad. If anyone can’t pay their bills over time they are in trouble. Incoming cash flow higher than expenditure is paramount in private life and business alike. Many great looking businesses have failed despite growing turnover and decent profit margins if cash comes in slower than going out on staff, exploration costs etc etc.
Investors need to see some indication that suffucient cash flow will come - or they could face problems and possibly another placing request to cover shortfalls in the meantime.
This scenario may not play out here of course but the wider market does not appear to be convinced yet even if we have faith?
Thanks for your post krull.
It just goes to show - a simole comment by DL on media seems to have sparked the sp slightly in the right direction. Seems to endorse the point that we need regular feedback from the Company even if not earth shattering news - on this basis perhaps the bod should be more proactive when the sp slides to keeps the investors up to date.
Thanks for your concern scsiborg. No one like losing money but trust me this is only small beer and not an issue for me. Losing the lot invested here would not change my lifestyle. The problem is, like most Bankers (spelt correctly!!) I dont care to get my risk assessment wrong and question what has changed if those decisions look suspect with retrospect. Amplification of facts by the Company could help their investor relations though.
Patience is not a strength of Bankers and I guess I would become too complacent in retirement if I did not have an enquiring mind as well as the golf and holidays etc.
Thanks for your posts albino and yanis - well reasoned and honest credibility. My uneasy vibes here seem to sping from, in my opinion, only getting half the story on occasions - which could have been amplifued?
Yes it is a waiting game - perhaps I lack patience, but mm games with sp and the resulting slide are good enough reason to question what we are told and indeed our expectations based on this - hence the need for very regular updates and clarifications.
My former background in Banking and risk assessment etc probably affect my thought process when things don't feel right.
Not looking to be controvertial, merely opening the line of discussion and thought process. I continue to hold my investment here thus my devils advocate approach to the current environment here.
Not at all - why would I with cash invested here. The CEO's stated objectives have not worked out yet, - the share price slides...Really, as a shareholder, along with other like minded owners of the Company (shareholders), i have every right to query where the CEO is with contracts and negotiations - after all he was so bullish or has this now turned to b... s... to keep the investors happy.
Yes I am becoming uneasy - but will continue to hold for a while yet to see what develops.
Investor confidence is important to the Board of course - but this to me is erroding.
Sorry dsfat - i am not alone in my concern over newsflow. Get real - no one likes to see the sp drop and I have every right to voice my concerns regarding the obligations of the Company to its owners - the shareholders of ALBA
CEO ramping is starting to smell like waste mixed with hot air.
More substance is needed and credible news and time scales.
Company Board should not forget that they need us - we are nor rhubarb to be grown and nurtured with with horse
du-g alone.
A positive cash flow is necessary - but when exactly?
It seems to me now that other share holders here are disappointed with news flow and the Company board in this respect. I hope that someone at senior level will pick up on our dissatisfaction and do something to improve communications. The Company need us and should heed the undercurrent!!
I'm not looking to get out of here really Scisborg - but am naturally watching developments much more closely now as my faith in the Company's board and information flow has been dented of late - especially as the sp has been allowed to slide (not helped by mm's of course!!!)
Not trying to deramp at all. I have a good bit invested here so why should I. Just calling things the way I believe they are right now. As for the thoughts on a placing - this was not in my thinking until I saw the post on D.L' twitter page re Angus - could not be closer to the action than him! In any event should this happen I dont believe the market would accept a higher price than an existing sp, whatever this might be at that time - if it is needed.
I do agree with your critiscism of the Company re lack of news flow - which I am assuming should be good?
The next news could be inspirational-ho ho- - if not I believe that sales could be triggered - don't hold your breath for 0.45 anytime soon the way things are looking currently - and the prospect of a placing over the next 6 months or so is a concern re possible dilution of sp value. The board are letting us down quite badly here in my view having invested with good expectations given the number of strings to the Company's bow. OK my own fault and you cant win them all.
The lask of credible information from the Company is difficult to accept and the board are doing nothing to halt the sp slide as I see it.
