Totally agree mct101. Sums it up very well - but the upside could be tremendous. Without a contract soon we do seem overpriced even at this level - but could take off anytime if the contract is signed - but I still doubt any signatures will be obtained till a new Nomad is appointed (I wounld not committ to a company which 'could' be delisted - even though this may be unlikely- would anyone else when talking such big money?)
Seadog -read what people are saying- you are being pedantic. I did not say LVCG only make some models - my reference was it would be good business re the Merlin situation if we only (in addition to everything else we do) made some models for them which would be good bsiness for Bright bricks arm of our Company - with the massive possible of upside if Merlin took us over lock stock and barrel. Also regarding your other post - Live Nation Entertainment are a totally different set up to Merlin, who woul also fit well with Live Nation after they had potentially taken over LVCG. .We can dream but this could become a reality over the coming months.
Win win all round either way.
Do check out Merlin - we are minnows by comparison - they could expend money trying to conpete in the areas you mention but why would they - easier to take us over - as with other taken over in their historic and meteoric rise.
Please check out Merlin Entertainments on en.m.wikepedia.org site for the history and background. Fits like a glove with what LCCG have to offer - and then are a multi billion capital company owning Legoland and Cyptus Gardens etc etc etc.
Look very good to me for LvCG iw we only make some models - but much more could come!!!!!!!!!
Re read my post seadod - there is a massive upside. The size of Merlin could provide competition, if they chose that route - but they may prefer to swallow the finished article.
To answer your point re building their models - obviously LVC G would to bag the profits from the sale of those models - win, win either way.
Don' t be so defensive of what we think we have before posting, there is a wider picture
Thanks apple.. i was not trying in any way to deramp or deflate ... merely passing on my message from the brokers, as soon as I got it, to my colleagues on the bb - then leaving the thought process and decisions in their hands.
I do have high hopes for EQT - but have always been aware of the counter arguments. On this occasion I will probably now wait till the new Nomad is appointed before returning to the bb if being honest and trying to help those without broker advice seems to have upset some posters.
The message was real - actually from Barclays Bank -today.
. The choice was still my decision to sell or hold. The RNS dates back a few weeks and I sincerely hope the Nomad gets appointed mid January.
I am not talking garbage - the notice was delivered to me on line by my broker a respected Bank today - giving me only toll 7/1/2019 to decide my action. Naturally I had read the earlier RNS from the Company but the Nomad May (or may not) be confirmed by mid January?
I really hope that issue is resolved positively as this Company has all the signs of a potential winner - but no firm contracts, no cash flow etc, etc.
As they say fortune favours the brave - but whether I have the stomach for a fight here till the Nomad is confirmed. My intention in posting was to make others aware of my Brokers comments and leave younto your own thoughts - but Inwas certainly not talking garbage - perhaps you should use your superior knowledge to discuss with the Bank's brokers?
Just received from my broker - my decision has to be made today - probably bail out till Nomad appointed:
Eqtec Plc DELISTING/CANCELLATION Any action you may decide to take on the stock you do so at your own risk. The above company has announced that it may cancel its listing from the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The proposed delisting date is 4 March 2019. Prior to delisting on the 4 March 2019, the company will suspend trading of the stock on 1 February 2019 Please note the delisting may not go ahead and is dependent on the failure to appoint a new nominated advisor also known as a Nomad . In the event that the company fails to appoint a new nominated advisor by 1 February 2019 the stock will be suspended from this date. As stated above the suspension and cancellation is dependent on the failure to appoint a new nominated advisor and may not go ahead. Any action you may decide to take on the stock you do so at your own risk. Please consider the options available to you.
Whilst not agreeing with Argyll, I do feel that there is far too much wishful hoping going on here. Yes the Company has potential but is slow in coming to contract with any serious 'customer'. Until revenue is generated the cash loan facility will just be disipated in keeping afloat - without return. We should recognise this and accept we have a high risk investment - which could become huge for us - but until then let's not get too carried away by hype. Whilst watching progress I am just sitting on my EQT shares without expectation - but hope to be very pleasantly rewarded. Bit of a gamble with great odds if contracts land.
2857mal-if you couldnt and wouldnt invest here then can I politely invite you to p-ss iff this board. Whilst I do enjoy useful views and banter, unhelpful statements without basis are a nuisance especially when coming from an uninterested, eninvested party just looking to stir a pot fir no sensible reason. The majority of us have done our own reason and do not need you to teach us how to suck eggs. Do one, you fool
