No I’m a disgruntled shareholder and want to understand the assets and costs as there is too much smoke and mirrors..so I’m doing my own digging..the source was part of the consultancy team help ‘deliver’ the scheme..near.£24million to fit out a hotel in Manchester is ridiculous..it shouldn’t even be £1m a bedroom to build and fit out a 5 star hotel never mind just fit it out..goes to show MM is truly using these as vanity projects at the significant expense of shareholders..

Is there a way of getting a list of assets THG own? I’m told by a source that the ‘client’ on the hotel projects in Manchester was changed from THG to an MM company not sure if it’s an SPV. I’m also told that the costs for the great John street hotel project were working out close to £1m per bedroom to fit out the hotel approx. £24m (24 bed hotel) Gulp which includes consultants fees..he’s not getting THG to fit these hotels out for him at the cost of shareholders? I’m told that the level of fit-out is astronomical on this hotel solid brass everywhere..job had to stop as they kept changing their minds..this was already one of the nicest hotels in Manchester before he bought it and he ripped everything out!..it’s just stood there idle now until they decide what they want..

Agree I wasn’t expecting him to answers questions as such..just be there for support especially with the sudden departure of two directors and the fact that the news was so bad. As chairman at least show PI’s you give a monkeys..and don’t come at me with ‘he bought a 1m shares’ I take that as a negative now after these results..was trying to show the market things were ok when clearly they weren’t (and he must of known) you don’t get too his level with being a naive Twit..

Where is this chairman of this company that said just 3 months ago shareholders should not concern themselves with ‘film-flam’ discussions about the company..it’s exactly what we should have been doing, where was the profit warning..where is the chairman and the F is he doing if he was brought in on a large salary to try and sort out relationship out with the city..where’s the strategy?

I’m actually in for the the long haul and have been for sometime..I like the story and the business and have worked indirectly with THG before and was impressed with their ‘micro’ management of cost so expected to this to run up stream..clearly it’s not been working..I like the thought of someone holding their hands up and being genuine and MM is clearly not that person. The director that left today..look at some of his buy in levels, he was probably disgruntled with what’s been happening..saying wasn’t it a smart move to get someone to buy in for 10 fold what it’s worth and then use that cash to basically give products to consumers..unfortunately this is not sustainable..the recession ain’t kicked in yet so is MM saying he’s going to increase prices in the actual recession and expects consumers to buy into this because he didn’t pass on cost when we weren’t in a recession..he’s back tracked/been silent on what has been said previously I.e. currency / hedging etc etc..the man cannot be trusted and if this is to remain a plc then he ain’t the man to sail the ship..the Twit.

Terrible day again..truly is sickening what has happened here with no response from the company..if we get some more woolly stuff tomorrow the company needs investigating from top to bottom

I’m just glad we, as shareholders, get some form of update. The communication as been so poor with the collapse of the SP. Tomorrow I really hope for a fairly positive update which reassures the market and large II ‘s get reassured that the business is a good one and some of the governance issues are sorted. People have been saying why aren’t other II’s investing…why would they without assurance that issues have been sorted that MM said would be..the indicators for me are the comment of ‘significant undervalues business’ at the reported £1.70 spec bids, the CA and MM purchases…tomorrow we will find out if MM has been duping us all
