Thanks a lot Meldrew, I appreciate taking time to put all the info together. Motley Fool doesn't concern me as I am already in retirement! I wish I had followed your reaction on AVO, I am so down on my investment that I feel it's now worth risking the rest. I followed IQE today and sounds very interesting, hope it's not already too high to go in now, and for the record, I have never blamed anybody for taking my own decisions. Maybe we can regain some of what we have lost. Cheers!

Going by the share chart it looks like that by the end of September will reach 0 , and then what? Getting a bad feel, very warring! Hope they can come up with something good before then.

Meldrew, I wish I got out when you did, but I feel that I am now prepared to take a chance with the remaining 10% of my investment. Do you think that they have lied deliberately? If so, would they have published the new time table? Is it possible that they genuinely underestimated the development time of a complex piece of equipment ? I am not saying that you are wrong, I am just playing the devil's advocate!

RoR, it sounds that you were in with a six figure sum, and it's all to do with proportions of what you are prepared to invest/loose. Having burnt your fingers badly, are you thinking of getting back in? And at what stage/price?

So you are down approx 83%, I am down 87% . Similar pain, we some pain relief in the form of more management efforts and a lot of luck! For the time being we can cry together, or have a pint (or two) or a bottle of something stronger.

ROR, you are right, the company has dozens of multimillion pounds projects in the area, I think AVO help them getting planning permission based on being a good cause, but let's hope we are wrong!
