Welcome back Meldrew44, the situation seems a bit more promising than a few months ago, if my memory serves me right you got out at around 30p, what did get back in at? Hopefully we can recover some losses soon! IQE is taking a rest for now, but very happy so far.

IMO the s.p.will be quite volatile till a good finance deal will be announced, perhaps in the next few weeks, the next milestone will be in about a year's time(we hope!) When the complete system will be tested for superficial treatments. In general I feel that the price will go up and down but in upwards trend with good increases at the milestone announcements above. There will be many scared investors jumping ship as the price goes up but also many new ones and many getting back in, making it volatile till the end of next year. Just a gut feeling, not a science!

He is a very controversial character, his views are always extreme to attract vulnerable investors to buy prescription for his website. He has made extremely bad comments about various companies including AVO, At the last AVO g.m. I spoke to their solicitor and apparently he laid off after a legal warning. He has been in legal ddisputes with several companies. It's up to the individual but my adviser is just ignore him. But if you want to waste some money, go ahead and subscribe to his site and enjoy the reading.

I think also due to the fact,in my opinion, that it was oversold and the hope of a good long term funding has woken up investors in side lines eager to get back in. Potential sales and profits are in the order of millions per unit, when up and running. As usual share prices go up well in advance of that happening.

There must be some good news coming out soon, to trigger this sudden rise and could be to do with a good long term financing deal as this would be a very important matter to see the company trough the delays. Lucky most of you I assume, as my average is 146! But still hanging on as I believe in the long ran, it will be worth it. How long is a piece of string? Almost impossible to guess but, if everything goes according to plan, the price went up to 140 without a product so, if by 2020 they have the product to sell, I would hazard a guess to be at least double that, by then, IMHO.

Ian1234, you can still buy plenty, even at this level, if you really believe in it! If it goes as it should go this price is peanuts.

In the last two months has more than doubled, admittedly from a long way down, but with some encouraging news on all fronts, it seems a very small light at the end of a very long tunnel. Let's keep everything crossed! Maybe this is the beginning of long and welcomed steady rise.

I was in Harley street about 10 days ago, work progressing but still a long way to go, from the front you cannot see much but from the news at the back they are excavating and creating the framework for the extension. Next important news should be technical progress on the Light system.

Hi CM, not surprising really, the 3months graph shows from 650 to 950 in less than three months. I tend to agree with the long term view, after all it's a footsie 250 stock and very unusual to go up that fast, I see it as a temporary healthy breather, but can understand some nervousness and impatience. Can't wait for it to go up!

Often the s.p. goes down before the results are published, especially after a strong rise, sometimes it goes up only to reverse upon results. But this one feels like a long term holder, regardless of that!

Glib, I believe that if you have nothing worthwhile to say, you might as well say nothing but I welcome very much informative and sensible posts such as yours and thank you for it!
