Market makers are practically wholesalers of shares and they can manipulate the buying and selling price to increase their gains...........i think!

Thanks for your reply telephoneman, I did read the complete article and what prompted me to ask the question, is prompting me to ask a second question: why has the s.p. has halved in the last 5 months, while we have such potential?

We are all invested in here because we believe in the technology but, the clue is in the first line of the article " a long term view". Are we too early to see a rise in our investment???

You could be right Max19, I am never sure how to read these announcements, to me it shows no previous holdings, note 7 shows just over 150M voting rights and note 8 shows just over 5M voting rights. Do you know how to interpret these figures? I assumed also that the voting rights equal the number of shares?

I take your point but, around this time the selling is also balanced by people taking advantage of their ISA allowance and buying before it expires, and a good opportunity at this price!

Peter Gillenhammar has bought approx. �90 M of AVO shares, if my calculations are correct. He is supposed to be a very shrewd investor specialising in companies with financial issues, and selling at very good profit, so far I cannot understand why the s.p. has not gone up, has I would have thought it implies he can see a lot of value in AVO's future.

Are we saying that this gardner's is going to issue an RNS = Roses Not $ ? Better laugh than cry!
