I am more for sooner Baldy but no less than 50p but I hope we get close to 90p if possible before a deal. I think if it is where it is we will just gap up or we will have tremendous buying power if not given the low market cap should a deal arrive. If a deal arrives at 90p we may get decent buying power but not as much.

Either way happy for the news to arrive anytime in the next 2 weeks.

Who would want to be out of the first two weeks of November. Get a AZ or Merck with huge milestones and expect a decent gap up from where we are.

I like to consider a few 100% profit with a 99% certainty rather than a 100% guarantee and 50% of making a loss depending on buying range.

Hitting resistance point to buy. Perfect chance to buy based on those charts. Add a nice big deal to that to an already low market cap and you would have done well.

Ells would it not plausible to state the deal should be here next week or week two November if PYC have a face to face AGM at the start of week 3. They would have a rough idea as they are part of the board and would have given the latest date possible with a margin of 1-2 weeks.

VAL is a very big project for them and they get 6%. This will give them a chance to highlight how the work/technology helped VAL get a deal with one of the big ones if that is who it is. That in turn will enable them to talk about other projects and growth. If a deal was to be done and if you are meeting people face to face you definitely would want it to be positive and nothing better than a deal in my opinion.

Therefore based on this logic I would say deal week 1 (next week) or week 2 just based on the face to face AGM. All imo but one can decide for themselves.

Think your wasting your time to be honest Ells. Soon as this drops more buyers will come in as we already have such a low market cap.

Don't see the point of this effort because you achieve nothing as it will only go straight back up if it dropped a punny or two. It should go up and we know how fast it can move it can go up 5p in 30 min as we have seen a few times. Don't play with fire little boy.

Our market cap is very cheap. We are still only 37 million which is nothing at the moment. 100 million a real possibility after the first deal especially if it is Marck or Astrazeneca which I think it will be. FOMO should kick in for deal 2 and 3 after the first one and we only have about 65 million shares.

RNS is close so expecting some strong rises along the way. Not selling any for a long time simply not worth it as downside is very low compared to potential upside provided the deal comes.

With regard to Synairgen I mean the phase 2 covid drug not a deal and the current market cap.

I agree with you Josh. Between 3 million and 10 million I would say for upfront payment. Suzy did say it would likely be enough to cover working capital so probably not less.

Looking at other companies like Synairgen and RedX i think milestone payment factor will be higher than 20% maybe between 20-50% and also if it is AZ and Merck that should add further value. I would say 120-150p plus/minus a certain amount for the actual figures.

I had a similar theory. AZ followed by Merck. Merck because they have very close links with PYC who are on the board for Val and value the technology as they use it themselves and therefore it would make sense if they had a look at the details for 201. Also they would all know each other.

I would prefer the news tomorrow. It's time now we shaken the weak enough times and time to move on. Don't forget Synairgen went from 30's to 250 p in a day so why can't we given our current market cap. Maybe not 250 p but a good price in the range 100-200p on deal day.

This should a lesson for all. Do your homework and know what lies ahead. Don't listen to the children here who have not done the homework and don't be shaken by MM games. I was not nervous at all by the drop and added more.

Should you need a reminder listen to the recent interviews by Suzy where it is confirmed a deal is highly likely before year end but that was a few weeks ago and a deal should be arriving soon. Given our current market cap we are very cheap and a possibly multi-bagger here.

@Sambar, PYC are also on our board. Possibly a leaky ship although it's no secret a deal will land soon.

Jenny, you are wrong. We were market cap 11 million for two phase 2 drugs and one preclinical which should be very valuable. We were oversold from last year we should never have been 20 p even before any deal as many have correctly stated on this board.

A typical deal involves upfront payment, royalties and very large milestone payments and therefore you cannot value a company at 30 odd million as it is now. Imagine if milestone payments are 200-500 million you cannot have a market cap of 30 million then have royalties as well if gets to market as well as upfront payments. Fair price before deal is 70-80p but after a deal likely 100 p- 200 p maybe more.

@Touchclouds stick to your SAR which has been sinking just like your holdings in the past with VAL. Such a loser.

FYI Nick purchased at around 6p and only sold a tiny amount of his holdings purely profit taking. He has publicly stated he feels in his opinion this will go up considerably. Adam has also been buying around these levels in the last week or two.

You make money by being one step ahead. After the deal is announced we will probably gap up significantly and it will be very hard to get in. I think this is one of the best buying opportunities we have had in years given what lies ahead.

I see this as a very big positive.

Nick only sold a few of his holdings having already almost ten bagged. He has stated this morning that he thinks it will get at least to £1 mark. Adam also has been adding around these levels over the last week or two.

A good buy opportunity for people that can think outside the box. Suzy was as confident as anyone can be and our market cap is very cheap. We have several news/deals that can be announced one after the other.

This was too big a percentage of my portfolio having bought most of my holding at 6p and obviously have substantial profits ,thankfully.As I’ve said previously ,it’s just a pl factor and I hope to still be a shareholder above 100p which is ultimately where I see Val going.I could’ve sold my entire stake at 55p ,as the volume was there ,yet declined .
