Perhaps it could be discussed via an analogy about beans. Say you were blending beans and poured in a tin and it was successfully turned in to paste, all good. Now imagine pouring in a whopping vat load, you’ll get some blending done, but then some mush and you’d be left with a lot of beans knocking about at the end.

Spot on TL. No idea what anyone would expect from an AGM explicitly stating no new information. The value for me was having attendees at the event to ask questions. Without them, it’d have been the usual drab dry investormeet slides. I enjoyed watching the interaction.

I can see you’re not a fan of stating numbers based on guesswork, but Alan was asked if the CoS was very high or at least 50% and said YES. I took that as 99.99%.

Attendees might have gathered more as there was a Dx section in the afternoon. The expansion is to Germany is via launch so not acquisition related.

Phase 1b is pretty much phase 2, so timelines are reasonable in that context. They’re longer than first anticipated for 1a, but then the results are so much better than anticipated. Not a bad thing at all. It’s short term pain for a much larger long term gain. As it’s a platform, it makes sense to do things properly, not rush and build as much value in as you can. It works (tm), you can’t really ask for much more than that, I’d hate to have seen them going back to the lab and relying on Dx to keep the lights on.

We know we can't use ink sales data as a leading indicator as Alan still has plenty left. I imagine there's been a few exploratory discussions, but big pharma will wait for published results. I liked Alan's response regarding the lack of released PK data saying they needed to hold it back for peer review to make as large a splash as possible. I get the impression that publication will signal that their licence deal shop is open for business. Alongside it they can then sell the lack of side effects media story.

Hi Bein, I posted earlier that I think conversations will have started, but probably just exploratory ones. I'll be as fair as I can . He can't say, don't worry folks, we've got a massive wedge of cash on the way. He can say they're looking at non-dilutive options. No matter what something would be read in to what was or what wasn't said. In short, he's not definitive because he doesn't know as nothing has been inked. My view is that it doesn't matter that much, they've not struggled to raise previously. At the point they're beyond their declared inflection point and they're still not making deals - then I'll be 'concerned'.

O&W, I suspect that some initial commercial discussions are already underway, they all seemed very chirpy about the interest they've had. As mentioned, the 1a results will add strength to them. If they don't get a deal then they'll raise a few quid to keep the lights on until an inevitable deal, not exactly the end of the world even if it was via some dilution.

He also suggested a CoS over 50% during the quick fire round. So you can multiply TDs valuation of AVA6k by 5.

I’d wondered about 1b being a moving feast as the data emerges. He did mention they hadn’t settled on the dosing regime which suggests they are considering shorter gaps. Thanks ST, great post
