I’m sure BP would be delighted to licence some technology that would expand the markets of their drugs by enabling them to be given to a broader range of patients for a longer period of time. Engage your brain derek, the tech is a delivery platform enhances other drugs, it doesn’t replace them. There’s no rivalry, only prospective partners. The rivalry will appear when it looks like one of BP want to own it.

My initial thought is that the 2 weekly dose study is about optimising specifically for AVA6k, so it might not have relevance. Second thought is that it’s pretty much become a phase 2 sneak preview. Something mentioned on twatter is the change of protocol is to high fap too. So as well as the first line treatment change, they’re also potentially looking at other indications. I imagine they’ll want to prioritise STS as that opens up expedited approvals, but wouldn’t it be nice to have some efficacy data on breast cancer for example and be able to show that to BP.
