They have a proven working platform that enhances any number of toxic treatments. Why would that be difficult to commercialise?

The other argument is the nonsense peddled by Derek. The platform is not a threat. It adds value. You’d want to partner/licence/own it, not stop it. It offers the potential to broaden your customer base and provide a better product, why do anything other than open your chequebook.

BP won't be stopping anything, they'll be looking to invest/licence/takeover. It makes no sense at all for them to do anything else when a new delivery technology platform can potentially expand and enhance their developed drugs. Avacta aren't a drug developer, they're a platform developer. No 'concern' to be seen unless you're desperately rooting around for one.

Only risk for me is cash and that shouldn’t be a problem one way or another. The best demonstration of the platform is an approved commercialised lead asset. That’s my hope. There’s billions in value there and that then unlocks more value as it provides cash for the pipeline. They’re probably too small fry in the face of BP to make it that far though.

I thought the same CJ, but another one that was just casually dropped in a presentation instead. For me that was a big tick in the box. The science is firmly in the bag. It’s now up to them to commercialise it, I don’t much care how they do that. The recent appointment suggests it’ll be more likely via using up some ink at long last, but if dilution gets AVA6k to the market then so be it.

AVA6k is safe. They’ve demonstrated the platform tech works. From the final cohort of 1a onwards they’re gathering efficacy data whilst optimising. Only question is when approvals will be given and if BP will sit and let it happen.

Alan has stressed retaining the *lead asset*. No such talk about the rest, I'd imagine they'll be looking to partner.
