...is a catchy name. All the other companies are naming their products, we’ve just got affimers. How about Covaffimers? Covacure? Something the tabloid press can understand.

I don't think a cheap antibody test would cause concern as it isn't as helpful in tracking. I'd imagine over time the antigen market will become more crowded so at some point the healthy margins Sir Al spoke of will reduce. But by then we'll have a cure to sell :-)

ST, we've been through this. You're going to be mighty disappointed when the £150 offer comes in...

Absolutely blown away by Sir Al. We're now on the cusp of revolutionising:

Testing capability: 'the development of a COVID-19 antigen rapid saliva test with Cytiva which continues apace'
Treatment: 'patients already infected by the virus, to help treat and prevent disease progression'

and just when you think it can't get better...

Cure: 'therapy that could help prevent infection and limit the progression of the disease'

Looks like we've got all bases covered and all can be developed apace, certainly it appears faster than traditional approaches so we could end up being the preferred option for all three.

Oh, plus curing cancer. Mustn't forget that. Well done to all at Avacta and good luck with your continued efforts that will save the world (and my bank balance - naturally)
