RE: Avacta Lateral Flow Test Sensitivities23 Jun 2020 20:45
As we head towards winter (yes I know it’s lovely and warm and sunny), a mass screening test will be essential. Did someone just mention Have I Got Flus For You? Track and trace has been a total disaster, no great surprise, and it’ll be a mass screening test that will come to the rescue. Awacta’s test will give people the confidence to return to normal as it will help to hugely suppress the r value. If there are any outbreaks, in steps Awacta to sort things out.
My conclusion, the first port of call in future will always be Awacta’s AvaGotit. Confirmatory testing will reduce, but it will be much more targeted. I’d imagine NHS workers would continue to use the gold standard, i.e. Awacta’s BAMS though.
I hope, and I’m sure, that Awacta won’t rest on their laurels. Competition will arrive and it looks like we’re setting the standard. We need to maintain our position of being ‘the best’, as with that being the case, why would you procure anything else?
I’m waffling now, aren’t I? What was the question again? Oh yeah, it’ll reduce.
