There is zero chance of any coordination of a CV RNS being tied up with a govt announcement. The govt will be cracking on with whatever they have to support the ongoing LFD roll out. For now, probably a few more from surescreen. I can’t see there being any delay in releasing CV results, they’re independent. There are then additional steps beyond CV. CE marking, whatever paperwork is needed for the tender, a pile of bureaucracy no doubt etc.

Or... maybe it’s already happened, it’s going to be a Big Bang announcement with Boris at a podium and all the numerous parties involved have managed to keep everything deep under wraps. With the exception of a single buyer today obviously.

I believe the former rather than latter. Chances are even if the numbers turn up tomorrow and they’re amazeballs there will be more time needed before things really get going. More manufacturers, orders etc will follow in time. I won’t say any particular date, I don’t see any point. I’ll wait, it’ll be worth it.

Seems the latest game is being disappointed that PresAl hasn’t hit the firm deadline that you set in your own head, so you pick another one. Well it simply has to be tomorrow then, just before the long weekend. Definitely has to be Tuesday because someone is making a speech, or maybe the day after because the DPS that has no deadline starts then. Nope, definitely has to be within a week after as that’s ‘around’, no, I think within 2 weeks is ‘around’..... blah blah blah....

The CV will last until it’s complete, that depends on getting access to samples in the range they’re interested in. You don’t wander the streets ramming swabs in people’s faces. If the hospitals only have patients with ct values of 35 then you have to wait for some fresh meat with higher viral loads to cough their way in the door and they have to agree to taking part. I’m very sure everyone that’s involved is as keen as everyone else, so just let them get on with it. There were some great posts about the other parts of the business last night and it was hugely refreshing to see them and be reminded of what you’re invested in.
