Cheers guys, including for you patience with my ignorance! Rest assured, I'm also catching up the Avacta RNSs / presentations too, having been out for a while.

I just get the impression that their next anno will centre on pre|CISIONTM pipelines as the real moneymaker. That is not to say that AV6000 should be discarded in any way but I do get the impression that they are very excited by greater 'unannounced' discoveries they've made alongside their AVA6000 research. More than happy to be corrected.

Would it be unreasonable to say that CC has sounded more excited about the pre|CISIONTM pipeline than AVA6000?

Sincere thanks to those who took the time and trouble to answer my question at 20:05 yesterday evening. Equally, it was refreshing not to see someone (me) not getting slammed for daring to question the tech, albeit based upon a very simplistic understanding. For what it's worth, I do think the best is yet to come for Avacta but would also respectfully suggest that this board would help itself if the amount of sniping, various "personalities" discussion and MM/SP speculation could be replaced by the sort of informative answers (factual debate) of the type I received from posters last night.

A question which, if able to be answered sensibly and factually, may allay some of the obvious reservations / sniping here because the following seems to me to be central to the doubters' arguments. I am of course referring to the genuine "doubters", as opposed to the deramping brigade. So, here goes......

Allowing for the progressive increases in Dox dosage throughout the safety trial, I assume the AVA6000 drug that's been administered up until now will amount to the same formula as that which will be used in the Phase 2 efficacy trial? The obvious concern though is this: Based upon the massive increase and far more highly focused levels of Dox being directed within the tumor (when compared to that of the current standard Dox dosage), surely it is not unreasonable to expect a similarly "massive" kill-zone reaction by way of said tumors' withdrawal in size? That sort of response would definitely have leaked publicly if such dramatic results had occurred and, based upon what I've seen of those working in the markets over the years, such a leak would almost certainly have prompted an equally impressive rise in the SP long ago. None of that has happened.

The opposing argument here seems to be that it was a safety and tolerability Phase 1 trial and so the efficacy is not a factor. Seriously? The clinicians / world could be expected to keep such a life-changing result under their hats?

I raise those points in all sincerity and will be more than happy if one of the more knowledgeable posters on here can correct my understanding through explaining why Phase 1 is not being hailed through the sort of wondrous efficacy that some seem to be suggesting. That clarification would benefit investors here as much as it would me.

Not much to add re. Webinar that hasn't been said already, other than to say I wasn't sure about the need for this latest event as it didn't really didn't add anything to what we'd been told previously at the highly successful Capital Markets Day. I do think that AH should lay low now, at least until we start receiving "new" business, as he could risk ending-up sounding stale or being labelled by the impatient out there as a guy who only "talks" a good game. Contract 'extensions' are not enough where the CPI transition has been talked up to such an extent that it demands to be matched by some hard evidence, "evidence / new business" which isn't tied so closely to those running the show previously. That said, we are still running to schedule and it would be unreasonable to be overly critical - talking of which........

I was a bit surprised to have previously read someone suggesting Stephanie sounded out of her depth - or words to that effect. Subjective, I guess, but as someone who's worked on the presentation front throughout his career, I thought she came across as knowledgeable and confident throughout the Q&A. She did well, imo.

"Some companies just don't care about customers." Simpiles, absolutely spot on! But I'd go further and say ever more people (and companies) from all walks of life are blatantly on the take, profiteering or just plain thieving - whatever the cost to those around them. I know that for many of the younger readers on here this'll just sound like some old guy chuntering but the truth is that it's precisely because I'm an old guy who has lived through the decades that I can draw my conclusions through experience. We need another war to give people an appreciation for what we've got and those around us - well for those of us who are left at left.

That aside - I'll take a look at the latest presentation (having been hooked by the previous Markets Day), and give you a non tainted (neutral / no expectations) view in the next day or so.
