Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
1. It would not be prudent to invest more money in route expansion in Zimbabwe until we are sure we can repatriate funds for overall liquidity. 2. I am worried that Regulators/Countries will deliberately hamper, delay, refuse routes etc to deliberately stymie our expansion plans in the knowledge that the longer the pre start route costs go on before route revenue starts, the more we will be damaged to the benefit of State Airlines.
Last known information was the picture 22nd February 2018 http://www.piclizard.com/media/1720265527594347796_2100134092 Which showed them still at Toulouse
Having 3 Aircraft still parked on the Tarmac at Toulouse all this time presumably incurring daily rental and parking charges and possibly standby or crew in Training
Thanks Fjetcrazy, it was the lack of displayed flights plus so many sold outs on TZ Routes that made me concerned
Hope it does not affect our much publicised on time claims
Either the equipment is not recording all flights today or we have both aircraft out of operation.
Don't know what the problem is or how long for ?
Oh Dear our 91% will slip. Hope back to 2 aircraft operation 2morro ? Bit ironic really when we have 3 aircraft sitting on tarmac unused at Toulouse.
Have we really got a lot of flights from/to Tanzania sold out tomorrow, or is there some kind of problem ?
The Wasted Resource and cost is greater than I thought as the picture shows that we have 3 ATR72 Aircraft all customised for Fastjet sitting on the Tarmac in Toulouse. We need to get them operational Fast, but Where ?
It would seem that Flyafricazim.com has even less optimism about their own future as they have not even registered the name as shown on the letter they sent to the CAAZ namely flyafricazim.com . The Domain Name as shown is not registered and available to purchase. Even the most early stage 1 man band operation would have done this before using the name to secure their future. They are either crazy or not competent.
In the article in the Exchange it refers to us having Purchased an E190 . Is this a new aircraft or are they referring to the two that we have ?
HI Marksman, it was the statement extract below from the BusinessDailyAfrica article that highlighted that whilst we seem to have to swim upstream, others seem to be able to swim downstream, which is significantly easier. "Mr Hondius says the government has, on Jambojets behalf, applied for rights for the carrier to fly to Rwanda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Congo, Tanzania and Burundi" Of course here my observations are based on history, but my previous comment is based on hope that with the recent African Governmental changes and Open Skies Agreement, a new sense of reality and fair play and campaigning against corruption is the new future.
I am pretty sure that Nico is feverishly busy, planning, organising and putting into action plans, but that his personal style is probably getting on with things and telling us when things have happened rather than things he hopes will happen. I think it is a high probability that whilst Government is greasing the wheels of Jambojet, they are throwing sand on the grease to slow things down when it comes to Fastjet.
How much more chance now that Zuma's gone in getting the South African Base Deal operational. I believe it was a SA share ownership percentage problem, maybe this event together with the recent open skies agreement (again) we can make some progress to expand.
In Fastjet Livery, Sitting on the Tarmac costing money but not making any. About time for an Update from Nico
I cannot see being a problem, They don't even seem to have an operational Website in that name, and the Facebook page in that name last updated in 2015. Given how many people lost money with them who in their right mind's would book with them. Surely if they are still flying, they will eventually not be again.
No flights showing on flight radar 24 so far, I hope we do not have a problem with FJH

Thanks fatherelmer, That was exactly my point, we must by paying for it to sit on the tarmac at Toulouse. I hope plans are WELL ADVANCED for putting this cost to use to develop our service.
