Only 5 days to go to September the revised month I believe we were told we would be using the 3 ATR aircraft that I think we must have been paying for the last 6 months while unused.

As we are still not selling tickets for new routes yet and we now have 2 very underused E190's it confirms my view that is was a monumental mistake to commit to 3 Extra Aircraft all at the same time whilst not apparently learning from our previous mistakes of the past.

One would have thought a new African Based Leader would have known the way it works in Africa and not committed until there were absolutely irrevocable permissions to operate, so as to not put the entire company at risk of deliberate attempts by State Run Competitors to de-stabilise us.

I hope I am wrong and new announcements are imminent.

We now have on the current schedule in Tanzania Under Used E190's, so What on Earth we are going to do with an extra 3 ATR's is beyond me. It would seem that taking 3 Extra Aircraft at one time, without phasing them in gradually as new routes and business was added was a monumental mistake for which we must be paying heavily.

It should have been taken more into account that we are not playing on a level European Playing Field, and Country Pride and Protectionism can take place over good sense, despite the Countries in Question, Stumping up huge sums to Bail out badly State run or State financed Airlines.

Do they not realise, State Airlines only pay taxes if they make a profit !

I just do not believe that we have had no costs associated to 3 ATR sitting on the Tarmac at Toulouse in Fastjet Livery for many months, and therefore unable to be used to fly and generate income.

If as advised they would be in operation in September and we are now halfway through August and no news ? it is going to take quite a lot of destinations and flights to utilise 3 extra aircraft and beggars belief on taking 3 at one time, given the slow rate of new destinations one dragged out destination at a time and then getting Kigoma delayed at the last minute.

I hope that there is a lot going on and about to be announced imminently to defray the cost and get into a cash flow positive in H2

Did we scratch the Dar-HRE-LUN flight completely yesterday, I cannot trace the flight on flightradar24 ?

Clearly we are talking at cross purposes I refer to out and back as 1 and you call it 2 trips
Essentially we have only added 1 extra round trip DAR-HRE-DAR.

on looking it would appear that it is still 2 x weekly DAR LUN HRE and one Wednesday DAR HRE only

but it seems that they have reverted to 2 flights a day to Mbeya and 2 flights to Kili Daily after previously having this and changing to 1 x Mbeya and 3 x KilI Does anyone remember them telling anyone ?

It seems she did indeed do the Mbeya, 1 x Kili, 2 x mwanza and the Harare and Lusaka flight

Looks like Saturdays flights affected but showing full service on Sunday at the moment.

Why does it always happen on a Friday or weekend ? Hope we have not disappointed too many people. Had our ATR's been Located in Africa we could maybe have done something about it.

Does not look good flights to Mbeya' Kilimanjaro and Mwanza all now showing sold out.

Sorry not 2 days but 9 must have been looking at the 18 as in 2018 on my watch and got date wrong. So as long as flights appear by close of play tonight I shall be happy.

Very Pleased to see Bulawayo announced on front page, on destination map and on social media, but very disappointed that with only 2 days lead time to flights, Bulawayo is not on the drop down menu to actually book a flight. That should have been ready to go within minutes of the notification of start. This will inevitably reduce pax on first few days flights till people can book online and see prices and confirm.

But not as much as I thought as currency had changed on its own !

That things have not gone to plan, I cannot believe that it was planned to have not 1 not 2 but 3 Aircraft sitting on the Tarmac for 6 Months before hopefully eventual usage. The statement says one in Tanzania with no routes stated, one for Zimbabwe with only Bulawayo mentioned and no mention of the 3rd. It all seems to be vague with the answer made to fit the question. This time lag from paying for them to ultimately getting revenue from them flying is too great for it to be on plan.

This then begs the question, have lessons been learned again to go at a pace that is in line with approvals and agreements to fly with the relevant authorities.

We cannot allow further commitments to Aircraft without 100% irrevocable assurances and relevant documented approvals to fly.

Shareholders are only just hanging on, another big failure would sink us.

To the Contrary, It would appear that committing to 3 ATR aircraft painted in our livery and presumably with trained aircrew sitting unused in Toulouse, without approved and confirmed new routes, was a Gross Error of Judgement and could well have jeapordised the whole business.

Government and Official Agencies put the Lives, prosperity and Economic Welfare of their fellow Countryman first, before vanity, private deals and protectionism. They seem to not want the ordinary people to travel with and like the wealthy ones by keeping Airport and Flying taxes so high compared to the rest of the World, and putting a spanner in the works of Companies Like Fastjet who wish to bring cheap travel to the Masses.

We only have to look at how the market from Harare to Lusaka and back was stymied along with increased flights not allowed. Then we again had to suspend ? flights to Kigoma,, Now it has all gone quiet about Bulawayo, We have invested in the Aircraft to expand and improve lives.

When will we be allowed to do so ?

Unless I see it listed for sale 1st thing tomorrow, I will suspect that it may not happen on July 1st. 9 days sale only before first flight is a very short lead time to let everyone know. Also I would have expected it to be available for sale from this morning and have had twitter and Facebook messages to alert travellers. Because of the lack of the above, I am not sure that All the T's have been crossed and the I's dotted. I certainly hope we do not do another Kigoma ?
