This looks like a done deal to me but the stream is expensive. If Kefi can secure the remainder of the expressions of interest in the ERNs plus a bit around the sides, that would definitely be a better solution imo. Glad that HAA is taking a bit of time to optimise rather than blindly accepting the first cheques on the table to get the deal done - a few more weeks delay is a no-brainer if the Kefi team can mitigate the impact of the most costly financing tranches. We will all be much better off in the long term (excluding those lookie-loos on here that post all the time but hold no position).

The fact today's RNS mentions a figure of $23m isn't coincidence, I think it's pretty clear for all to see that the ERN at an advanced stage of discussion is BCM's contribution. Check out the RNS from April - it's clearly stated in there that BCM would contribute via ERN.

Also, it’s classic lazy AI usage - blindly posting elements like “fast tracking Tulu Kapi construction milestones“ - wtf does GoldQueen know about the construction of a gold mine, let alone the specifics of Tulu Kapi and ability to fast track anything? Clearly we’re not in the presence of an experienced geologist or mining engineer. It’s total garbage AI slop that adds absolutely nothing to the discussion.

GoldQueen, well done for eliminating the em dashes from the AI slop you post on here, but just to flag to you again that the LLM you're using is still pumping out AmericaniZed English. The paid for version of chatGPT is pretty good about eliminating this issue with clear instructions - maybe give that a go?

As you love posting so much, why don’t you actually research some helpful metrics like, err, performance of GOLD DEVELOPERS, so it’s more analogous to KEFI?? Why are you posting about a lithium developer on the KEFI board, knowing that lithium’s price has collapsed so dramatically - which is of course the polar opposite of gold’s price performance.

Why on earth hold a meeting that is not required, costs money to organise and carries its own risks. This latest development delivers greater certainty to the funding package and is most welcome imo

GoldQueen - if you want to cover your lazy-LLM usage tracks a bit better, get a paid subscription to ChatGPT or Claude with memory enabled, tell it to only use British English and tell it to permanently ditch the use of em dashes (the long hyphens in almost all your messages - do you even know how to generate one on your keyboard? Thought not) - LLMs love them, no one else uses them, they are a dead giveaway.

Sageman - you’re saying your position in GGP alone is valued at >£12m? Seems punchy. For someone previously espousing about diversification, presumably this means you have a total pf of significantly greater value? Is this your own investment from you p.a. or are you talking about client money invested here, given previous mentions of you being a fund manager?

Kefigold, IG can almost always fill larger orders >£20k, indeed I’ve tested it on multiple occasions when you’ve claimed they can’t fill orders for you, and they can for me in larger volume, so this idea about them being being unable to fill orders applies to only very small investmet amounts - nothing that will move the needle for the share price in any meaningful way. It’s getting very dull and repetitive having you post about it almost every day. Can’t you see for yourself yet that the share price isn’t really moving, ergo your point about IG’s ability to fill an order is irrelevant?

💯 agree with you ElectricLion. Also, if KEFI retain anywhere near 80% after full sign off, and are still at current valuation levels, they will obviously be in play for M&A. You only have to calculate the cost per proven tr.oz of gold in Tulu Kapi alone to see that they would be a sitting duck for a takeover by a mid-tier African gold producer like Endeavour (mkt cap £1.3bn), who could scoop up the development asset and use it as a bridge head into the Ethiopian market, not to mention all the ancillary assets like Saudi and other KEFI licenses HAA and the team have been quietly accumulating.

The broader market will price-in such scenarios and Kefi’s shares will re-rate up accordingly. It doesn’t need a big event to act as catalyst for this re-rating to occur.

GoldQueen - I’m not sure which LLM you are using to pump out these posts (em dashes and all, lack of grammatical anomalies, etc.), but it’s simply not correct to claim holdings by nominees which are associated with the large private investing platforms like HL are “institutional investors”. They are not in any generally accepted sense - the nominee entities simply act as buckets for private investors’ holdings. I appreciate you can often phrase a prompt in a specific way to get an LLM to support even the most tenuous position, but on this particular issue what you are saying is not convention, and no serious investor or asset manager would make that claim, so you should give it a rest.

I also think Pensana is quite a good proxy as to what might happen here. Assuming Harry pulls off the financing, Kefi will be materially undervalued at today’s prices (even after risk weighting the investment) compared to peers. The TK asset is open at depth with a higher grade underground deposit, hence 3m tr oz target deposit size often mentioned here, and there is material upside in neighboring tenements that we may well recover from the HK shell company which overpegged KEFI a few years back - we know this surrounding ground is highly prospective with trenching returning excellent grades in the past. Add that to Kefi’s other highly prospective tenements in other parts of Ethiopia which it has kept relatively low key up until now - including Vale’s Critical Metals tenements (including copper and tantalum - hello USA) for which costs of exploration can be financed by TK cash flows - AND the proven Saudi assets, and it won’t take much for the market to reprice KEFI quickly realizing this should be a >£500m market cap company any day of the week.
