The only thing i can see as a negative is that the order book went from 1st April $570m to end of June $517m which means they lost a little bit of business but all the other results were not only inline with expectations but a touch above so someone is playing funny buggers! I do think they need to make a statement on when they propose to start a dividend payment even if only 1.5-2% to start with but can move it upwards with debt reduction!

How can they have signed an offtake agreements and not announced to market? That is poor PR and mgmt - sorry but have tested me now and i will be out over the next week or so!

I genuinely cannot understand why this was marked down so much. The EPS is a non cash markdown so quite irrelevant to measuring a company that actually increased EBITDA guidance and debt levels lowered again. If i am missing something here can someone highlight it to me from the half yearly.

Looks like we are not going to see any rebound for the forseeable future due to the warrants in October!

Has there been any indication to date of the scale of the capex required to get Haverion to production?

Also what length of time post sign off of DFS and decision to mine would it take to get it to be a producer?

I do wonder whether they will have a RNS tomorrow morning and then use the investor presentation chat to discuss OR continue to keep investors in the dark and maybe why Bakers street started selling down!

Element - great endorsement that Blackrock did up there stake and great to have the big boys on board and hopefully we get some more to push this price along in due course.

Higher gold price is only good if Telfer can continue to deliver and this is what we are waiting. Markets dont like uncertainty and brokers do not put there clients into stocks where they dont have certainty!

For what it is worth the guidance revision downwards only a few weeks after using a different set of numbers for listing in the ASX has the melbourne broking community in oz questioning the management of GGP and where the next quarter results are critical that they come within the guidance or at the top end. Surprisingly the comment i was also told was they better not overshoot as this would also be seen that they have no control over what they are doing even if to upside. They need consistency and the story they tell actually occurs the next 2-3 quarters to get the confidence back with validation of the Telfer mining output and how many years etc. The Haverion project they like BUT the fly in the ointment is the capex costs and that is what they are waiting on for the FS.

Reform will certainly do that with the NS. The issue i have is that i cannot understand how blind freddie starmer cannot see that they need growth and that opening north sea and even doing a free govt carry of 10% on all new fields that goes into a sovereign wealth fund to build more renewable would be at least a half way house for energy security, growth and push the renewable agenda but with money behind it!!

Yes they dropped the EPS based on increased non cash related accounting entries of depreciation, amortisation etc!! go figure! Does not impact cash generation or debt paydown.

EG is in the middle of nowhere and would cost billions to develop so that is why i dont see it as relevant for the current long term SP of GGP. Sorry but look at where it is on a map!

Not sure why anyone actually cares about EG. The only thing that is going to drive this price in the 3,6,12 months is the ozs produced and sold at current gold prices. Hav FS is a lovely one to have but nothing being factored in for this in my opinion. It is all about Telfer and how many more years production as this is the mine that makes the money now and made the money for the previous owner before they decided they would sell it to GGP.

Element we all know it as LT investors but sadly whoever is behind the current suppression of price - who knows how much longer it will continue and there i now see we have hit record highs on gold price in last 5 minutes!!
