Thanks Valuation and agree with your numbers of circa 1.2bn shares will be on issue after the convertible notes and any fund raising. This now explains the pricing of TUN for me currently and i think why maybe some people have bailed.

The profit drop and NPAT change is purely from a one off and makes no sense the decrease in price. Picked up a few more this morning as overblown and can see an investor chronicle update in the next 1-2 issues as someone said this is a boring stock like having money in the bank BUT the likelihood that this will be at 20-21p by year end or a 20% increase is high!

It will also occur after the admission date as well. Not sure where this has to be by the 22nd September has cropped up on this board.

Surprised by markets reaction to this as decent set of results for me and moving in the right direction of deleveraging and will be circa 155m by end of the year. One off costs that NPAT i am surprised is the catalyst for rerating this downwards and would not be surprised to see a bounce on this once the funds that are invested review there position. Need to check order book compare but still $517m and EBITDA guidance adjusted upwards which is positive. The sooner they start paying a small dividend i think the better now for underlying support of the SP.

I am starting to wonder whether the only way this share will re-rate is if a fund or institution decides to increase there current stake or a new player that wants a 2-4% chunk of the company. We are just being held and there does not seem anyway of breaking this - any thoughts?

We just need all this good news to filter someway to TUN and the SP through a funding deal!

Not sure when market sentiment will change for GGP but they are fulfilling the purpose of frustrating ST/MT holders and to a lesser extent the LT holders. Personally i do find it annoying BUT i also realise the quarterly is around the corner and for me again personally this is how i will judge the company - have they hit the revised guidance numbers or within for ozs produced and AISC costs. I am looking for confirmation of that information at the moment as extrapolating the past does certainly give a higher SP but after the change in guidance want to see that the mgmt have got a handle on it and if not then will look at my investment at that stage and make some decisions.

I think we will know more friday but the selling and the decrease of bakers trust makes me a little edgy. Also contacted the company twice from a professional email address and no response whatsoever over past 2 weeks!

Spot on and we should see gold now consolidate on poor jobs data and now guaranteed interest rate decrease by Fed.

MH now we have an inclusion into the ASX200 it will be difficult for Macquarie and cronies to hold the price down now i would assume. The sooner though that short has been extinguished the happier i will be though!
