RE: Interested in LTH views on this one27 May 2026 09:43
My issue after having looked through all the presentations is that the lack of clarity on information provided by the company. They have nearly given too much information and it is hard to disseminate what is what and how many barrells per well etc. A simple table of name of well, daily production and the reserve attached would be really useful.
Also the future strategy is not clear as to say we will not be buying in the current higher oil price climate is like saying we know where the market is going. Noone knows and the annuity style income from this by buying the ma and pas small producing leases is a great way to build quite a platform to get to the future targets, However this is not in play but a statement of 3k-5k a day BOEPD in next few years is made in the slides. I just dont think you can state these comments without a strategic plan of how to get there and that plan is not articulated or bridged in anyway by the company in any presentation. This is why the share price is low .
Do i think that there is great opportunity in buying out many end of life 5-10 barrell wells in onshore texas and building a business from this. Absolutely but the key for me is debt / borrowings and be adding to the portfolio quarterly and building this up that way. The margins are high to cover interest costs even with oil at $55 a barrell and for me i would like to see some strategic view on this as the way they build the company FCF up and ultimately pay down the debt that purchases the end of life wells.
